Excellent way to store and track my books! Would be nice if I could load the cover art after the book has been saved.

Developer answered my email question in a matter of minutes plus it works great.

Bookshelf works well but a couple of changes would make it better. First make the number optional. Some older books don't have a number and since it's required you can't enter the older book onto the list. Second the ability to edit after you save a book. Some books loaded with the author as the title or the web link as the genre which of course is competely wrong. If you catch it while loading it can be fixed but if you don't see it you can't edit later but rather must delete and reenter that book. Also the ability to edit genres would be great. They seem to assign genres by random some time and really could be consolidated. Last the ability to add a desription like a series name would be nice.

Great app, solves my problem of having to carry a list of what I want to buy.

3 Stars for Now...getting a lot of crashes when it comes across an ISBN not in the systems of choice. Also recommend adding Publisher information to the list.

I have looked at a few of these database things for keeping track of which books I have, want or have loaned out. IMHO this one is the best. Easy to use, easy to search, easy to update. And, I love fanning thru the collection iTunes cover shot style. Yes, there are a couple of things I would like changed, like making the genre an editable preset choice. But, the other libraries I looked at weren't even that good. To cap it off, I sent Josh, the developer, a question. It was answered courteously, quickly and with a sense of humor. My kind of guy and my kind of software.

I have more than a thousand books and sometimes buy ones I already own. Always wanted an easy and convenient way to keep a list of my books. This is it! It's going to take forever to enter all my books, but it's fun seeing the ones I haven't read in a while. I love my Ipod Touch and I love this app. Thanks!!!

....it crashes at the drop of a hat. Two phone reboots later, I'm deleting this app. and eating the $1.99 price.

It's a good app, but would like to see the ability to email book list, save list onto a computer, and/or upload book list to a user specified server.

Great way to store the names of books that I have read. I have kept a notebook for years and now I have it with me at all times. I wish I could add a book without the ISBN when necessary for books I no longer have. Thanks for filling the need for a portable list.

I have close to 100 books and it got sluggish and has crashed a few times. Dummy ISBN is needed for books with no ISBN, and all fields have to be filled in order to save the book info. Overall a good app, but is restrictive on the type of books to log in.

this ap is garbage. put about 100 books in it, and it freezes up, the cover flow doesn't work. the ap froze my phone worse than any ap since ap mobile news.

Only problem I have is that the "bookshelf view" won't work; it crashes the app. I really wish this could be fixed, as it's the coolest feature and the main reason I bought the app. If this was fixed, I'd give it 5 stars.

Hey there! It's your favorite photographer! ;) I found this app and love it. Runs smooth so far. :) Constructive feedback, possibly add a search engine capability for the books that are recommended to the user but they don't have an author or title. Also a compare prices if it is something they want. I do really like the search your own library feature because I have a LOT of books an this app make it easy so I don't re-purchase something! Good job Josh!!!!

I just downloaded the app last night. I've added a couple dozen books so far. There are 2 things I don't like..the first is the lack of a "Read" or "To Read" option. The second is the inability to add a book that does not have an ISBN number.

This is what an app should do: one thing and one thing well. I would give it 5 stars if it could use the phone's camera to snap a pic of the bar code on the book (or use a 3rd party bar code reader).
