iCalcRisk is a graphical primary prevention cardiac risk calculator based on the UK JBS2 (BNF) rules that is primarily aimed at health care professionals. In England with the introduction of Cardiac Risk scoring for all new hypertensives in QOF and the new government over 40 health-checks risk scoring is very topical.

This graphical representation will hopefully make discussing cardiac risks with a patient easier in that they will be able to see how altering their risk factors has an effect.

***I've decided to change iCalcRisk to a free app to help promote iMCQs. Currently iMCQs in Dermatology is on the app store with iMCQs from the Casebook of Primary Care being submitted soon.

I've had a couple of requests for a mg/dl option so I have added this and an option for additional risks and moved the risk box to the top to make it more visible when changing the sliders - will submit to apple this weekend after some bug testing (6th oct)
