This works exactly as advertised... I was using AirCam, but no longer due to crazy lag since they added sound, and no option for turning the sound off... I can't wait for updates to add additional functionality like turning the cam off and on remotely.

I have tried it from my iphone over wifi at home and work.  I also tried it over 3g and edge, all good.  What is nice is the company clearly describe the limitation of the product and say it will address them.  I feel they will be open in adding features to this product that users request based on the quick response to an email I sent them.  This program takes no set up to get it working and does just what the description says. 

With a younger Brother who has brain cancer and can not be left alone too long- I turned on the cam on my laptop to run out of the house fast to the market etc. What a comfort to keep that extra eye on the little guy! Another use I found as an Airline type person who is always in hotels, was to leave the laptop on while out of the hotel room....it's amazing how many maids look in your suitcase! Along with just being fun this app. was a snap to get working, is reliable and works just as advertised! Get it! You will like it. Update 02/18/09: now it's perfect with sound! You will be very happy if you buy this app.

Recently purchased iCam and had some problems connecting with one of my computers. I emailed support (this was late Sunday night) and got a response within an hour. We worked through the problem and now the product works flawlessly. This is the least expensive, easiest security cam solution I have come across. It's entertaining to see what my dogs are doing when I'm not around! Anyone with a mac, webcam and iPhone/iPod touch should check iCam out.

Superb application-I had some trouble getting it to work from my G5 iMac 20" with external iSight , so contacted the developer via email and his response was near immediate and very helpful! A very small update to the desktop app fixed the problem , now have 2 camera feeds working perfectly, one from an Intel iMac 24" with built in cam, the other from the G5. Works flawlessly over Edge or Wifi. Congratulations to the developers for an excellent app.

Very simple to activate, Works great too. Can't ask for an easier install and setup. Just follow the directions!

this is my favorite application. installed in just a couple of minutes. worked great first time i tried it. i can't wait for the sound update. would pay $25. for this app.

I was using ftp to get a snapshot every few seconds of my baby while she slept, so that i could see if she was awake without opening the door and possibly waking her. Well, now I can watch actual live video. Its really fun to watch what she does in the crib. I tried -athome lite- but I couldn't get it to work. This was up and running in about 1 minute of my time and runs smooth. Its gonna be really sweet when the sound is added within the next few days. Thanks Devs!

I was a bit skeptical at first but I'm a believer! It's easy to setup and...it actually works!

Looks good on my iPod touch and Macbook. Almost no lag time between the two, but that is on the same WiFi network. I have yet to use it via a remote Wifi network. Sound would be awesome, maybe even two-way. Very easy to setup and use.

There are only 2 cams Aps this and Air Cam (which has sound already). The problem with Air Cam is it does not work. Oh yes.. After much fidgeting and port changing on your router it works over Wi/Fi in the house but not outside or at a remote location. ICam however worksvloke a charm. The connections are idiot proof. Download and off you go. Works on my original iPhone over Edge. Also works at remote hot spots. You can run up to 4 cams effortlessly. I'd give this Ap 6 stars if they had it to give. I can sit in New York at Starbucks and watch someone feeding my pet gold fish in Florida. Bring on audio!

This is the best value of any iPhone app. Hope they come up with app for network/dvr systems. Buy this app. You won't be dissapointed!

Compared all the cam apps out there-wanted to be able to watch my dog while at work-and this one was the easiest to set up & maintain. Does an awesome job doing exactly as advertised. I've been using this for the last few days to keep an eye on my dog when I'm out of the house. It works really well! My computer's fairly old, so the framerate isn't the greatest, but I still get a picture, even over Edge. I use a cheap USB cam I got on ebay. I'm really looking forward to the Windows version of the broadcasting software, so I can add another camera...

This was sooooo easy to set up and works great. We can watch our dogs when we are at work. Thank you sooooo much. For the future, it'll be nice to have sounds and somehow I can speak to my iPhone and my Doggies will hear me ;-)

Able to take a look at my house, my office and some of my friends houses. Works great. I never really cared what was going on when I was not around. Now I find myself constantly looking at this app. ALSO, Have a friend download the desktop app and activate it, call them and activate the app at the same time on 3G or wifi ='s a one way video chat.

This app is advertised as being really easy to set up. In fact, it's supposed to require no set up at all. However, it doesn't work for me. Unfortunately, because of the "zero setup", there's nothing you can change if it doesn't work. I know the IP address of the computer I want to connect to, but because I can't enter of manually, I'm stuffed. Not impressed at all, and out 5 bucks.

This is a great application. I would like to see the server application to start with windows automatically and also, preamp the camera when the app is launched on the iPhone. Other then that it is a useful app. Great work!

App works great and no problems installing or getting to work. Glad it works on EDGE and 3G and not just wifi. (it does stream a lil faster connected to wifi). You can mutiple phones and computers connected so you can set them around the house and then everyone can watch! Highly Recommend.

With its ease of set up (5 minutes for two computers) and mind blowing simplicity (I don't know how they did it, but it just works!!) this app is really the best thing I've seen in the store...EVER! This APP is great, but the DEVS need to add more features to it. I would like to see an update to record, or take snap shots, in addition I would REALLY LIKE to see controls, to allow us to zoom in/out, and rotate the Camera from the iPhone/iPod. I hope they are working on these things. It seems like it took them a while to make the last update. Which just had minor bug fixes.

First of all, this is a grest app. But it worked a lot better over edge and 3g before the recent update.

I got the app when I purchased a iPod touch, and it was awesome. Now I got the iPhone and it is even better!!! If you are a tight wod, and could only afford one app, this would be the one to get!

So amazing how it works flawlessly , no tech support needed, it does exactly what it promises and it does it with 5 start ! I would have paid over $100 for a program like this and the ability to use it on any computer so simply and quickly and then get the perfect results on your iphone instantly , anywhere you get service -- its more reliable than making a call !! Best invention since the text message !!! A must for anyone with a mac and and iphone, period.

I've never had an AP which would seem to be very complicated be so EASY to set up. I'm pretty techy and I can't believe it was that easy! I would like to see the PC software run in the system tray, but other than that - it's wonderful!

there should be an option where you can record the live stream and then stop recording and save it on your iPod/Phone.

I'd pay $40 for this of it worked with network cameras.

Works great! But... iCamsource needs the ability to run in the background so you dont have to have the window open. Also PLEASE make wireless and network cams supported. Once that happens, 5 stars. Wonderfull app tho. Definatly worth 5 bux.

I need a portable viewer to keep an eye on my 1 yr old baby. I already have an old baby monitor but very bulky (I cannot bring it with me to the toilet!), and I don't want to spend $200 for a portable baby video monitor. This application is exactly what I need. It is SO easy to setup and use. I can see AND hear my baby clearly!

This is the best application for $5! I can't believe that it is so easy. You literally just turn it on and it works even on 3G and E. I was out to dinner with friends and my husband home with our son and after putting him to bed, he turned on the camera and I could hear and see him from miles away!!! Love it!

5 bucks..I would have paid 20. This is worth every penny. FPS is good. With audio there's a little delay but hey at least there's audio. Went to friends and used his Wifi, entered my name and password as Boom!!! My Place..right here in the palm of my hand. I thought about it and if iCam were $100 I'd still buy it. Let's just hope this app lasts a long long time. Best app I've ever purchased and so simple to use.

This apps is a blessing. My mother is 89 years, and has difficulty moving around the house. With this app I am able to monitor her daily chords in case of an emergency, like a fall or pain. VintageGeek

I purchased this app today and installed 3 cameras. No computer skills needed-easiest set up I have seen. All my usb cameras function in real time with audio. I have tried all networks (wi-fi, 3G, edge) no problems what so ever. My hats off to the Developers-GREAT job!!! I'm watching my home, office and the babies room. It's nice to purchase an app that functions exactly as stated and installation was just as described-Thank you for your honesty!! I'm already looking forward to future updates, would like to be able to add more than 4 cameras, take snap shots and be able to save portions of video. Also, to be able to hear audio from a wireless camera would really be a plus!! But I'm not complaining, AS IS this was the best $5.00 I have spent!! BUY THIS APP NOW!!! You will not be disappointed. I hope the developers raise their price-they deserve more than $5.00 for this app. I have 97 purchased apps and only 2 favorites-Icam and Jaadu vnc remote desktop($25.00). Utilize all the power your iphone is capable of. Apple is really light years ahead of the competition. Glad to be part of it.

I wanted a pet cam to watch my puppy while away. iCam is a gear inexpensive solution to network cams and the like. I watch what my puppy is up to on my original iPhone using EDGE no problem. My girlfriend uses the iCamweb to watch while on her computer at work. Highly recommend!
