This app is a great addition to another app like this that I bought as well from the itunes app store. This has quite a few great sounds, one being a rainstorm - I have always been a little odd, I am happier during a good rainstorm than a sunny day, so I can now listen to it wherever I am. The only issue I have with this app is the sound titled 'Scottish Highlands': This sound effect is nothing but wind noise AGAINST a microphone, which is pretty poor to include that in the app. I still give it 4 stars, as there is a superb effort to include many rainforests, etc. GREAT APP!!!

would be nice if you didnt clearly hear the sample end and restart every minute or so. makes it pretty much useless.

When I set the timer for this app. to turn off, and the alarm for my iphone the iphone alarm did not sound. Otherwise the sounds for this app. are very good. Could use wind sound.

I bought ambiance, aSleep, and this app. Out of the three this is #2. aSleep just added over 20+ sounds so it stays at number one. This app is well designed and the picture at the top is an added bonus. My favorite sound on this has got to be the wind chimes. Overall it's a good buy.

I am in the hospital sleeping in the room with my son who just had major surgery. It is quiet in the room, but you hear a lot of sudden noises outside the door. I happened to be checking out the latest apps and there it was - I kept the waves on all night long and we both slept wonderfully!! Thanks for a great application!

This is a great app. I like the various exotic rainforests and sounds from around the world. They are a bit more unique and also have other sounds like wind chimes that Ambiance and aSleep don't have. I bought those two programs and like them as well. The graphics on top of each sound are a nice touch and the application size is nice and small and not so overbloated like some others that it makes your phone freeze up or crash. I heard someone else talking about the loops but it doesn't bother me that much...maybe making a slightly smoother transition is the only improvement I can think of. Nice work and looking forward to more updates.

It is what it says it is so it gets five stars from me... Yes more sounds later on would be nice.. But it also has some sounds that ambience and asleep don't like the campfire ( sounds nice btw). The pictures are a nice touch. Worth the 99 cents...

This is a very nice app. Would like to see more windchimes in next version or just a windchime version.

Great sound quality but the loops are soooo obvious it's distracting and way too annoying.....

I do love this app. Have ambience too, but the photos are what make it for me. I don't notice the looping problems mentioned by other reviewers-- maybe they've been corrected, or maybe I'm just not a critical listener. The sounds are loud enough on my 1st gen iphone to actually hear, and it also has great ease of use. Thanks, chillout people.

I think iChillout is the best so far. None of the others have any type of Wind Chimes and They sound Great!!

The new higher quality sounds are more pleasent to listen to. Selection is good. Volume control was a much needed addition. Now passes the wife test! Price is great.

Break is way to obvious to be effective.

The sounds are great, but there is a disconnect. So when the sound bite repeats, there is a dramatic disruption. It isn't continuous. So you can't relax to it at all. ESleep provides a much better quality sound bite, which loops without interruption.

Great sounds,however I think the interface could use some work. Also when I'm setting the time it's annoying I'll select a time frame and then it clicks back to a previous time or resets itself really annoying. Sounds are the best out of asleep and ambiance. I have both , I'd still recommend this app.

This is a great app! There are many sounds and they are clear in sound. I also like the timer. Try the lite version first.

Don't have to say much but, the best I've come across and got my cents worth!

It's a good app and I hope u enjoy the awsome sounds and the pics some people say it crashes on them but it was a good choice to pay a dollar for It could use some more sound please :) Enjoy

Just loaded this app and I love the sounds but the app is buggy. Crashes randomly. Look forward to clean updates.

A nice selection of very distinctive, high quality soundscapes. This app provides a nice supplement to the more typical ambient loopers out there. There should be a slight delay when switching sounds though, as flipping through the wheel instantaneously activates each sound and this can be a bit jarring. And yes, please fix the looping issue.

I like the selection of sounds in this app, that I got for my iPod Touch 2G. The break when the sound clip loops is noticeable, but I can overlook that. The problem I had was that when the iPod goes to sleep and the screen turns black, the sound STOPS! It happens with and without the timer running. Not too useful if I have to tap the screen every 10 seconds to keep the sound playing. I think it worked before the recent firmware update, so it may be fixable.

Need to fix the software from quoting when the iPod shuts down due to new system 2.2

Don't get me wrong, the soundscapes on this app are first class! All the dev needs to do is fix the really rough looping (esp on "Rain On Window", "Calm Waves" and "A Perfect Storm" - Look forward to further updates....

This is a really good white noise program. Gives you a nice picture for sounds too. Lots of scenery sounds. I'd get it if you like these types of programs.
