Perfect app for what I needed to do: downloaded a printer driver from the web using iDownload, and transferred it to my parent's computer. It was much faster than their dialup connection. It perfectly fills the void left by Safari's download (in)abilities. For .99, the lack of iPhone file viewing doesn't bother me (there are other apps for that, anyway).

I've been waiting for a means of downloading files not supported by safari. (I mean, what kind of browser has supported filetypes for downloading?) Nice job :D

This is such a awesome app to download any necessary files especially when your away from your home computer. You can also view the file that you downloaded which is nice!

What else can I say? It works exactly as advertised, and I'm very impressed. It's a perfect companion to Air Sharing & Mobile Files Pro. Seriously, at 99 cents it's a complete steal.

Combined with skreemr.com or seeqpod.com, you can download and listen to anything at anytime. Great for my iPod touch.

Really, the app does exactly what is in the description. The interface is decent, and the basic file viewing features work well. Please, stop complaining about the lack of features in this app. It's 99 cents well spent and a good way to grab files that you can't in Safari.

Maybe 5 stars is too high, but it does work. You can download EXE files, but you need to first save it as a link then download from the links menu. You can download rapidshare if you have a premium account. To transfer files to your PC just click the share icon and go to the address displayed. You can also upload files from your PC to your iPod to view later. So far I can play mp3 files, view txt files, jpg, pdf, and even a 2007 excel file. Just keep in mind that you need wifi at home to do this. What I'd like to be added is possibly a feature where you can tap and hold down on a link. Then from there an option can come up to download or save the link. This feature would be great on web images as well. I only ask this because some websites open a new window for images and this browser doesn't allow new windows. Also I wish they added a feature where the screen turns off and you can still download files. Like pandora you can still listen to music while the screen is off. UPDATE: Well I figured out how to keep the download alive after the iPod goes to sleep. METHOD 1: Download a long mp3 music file and whenever you download a big file just play the mp3 in idownload while it downloads. METHOD 2: Copy music from iTunes to your iPod and when downloading press the home button twice to bring up the play music menu. Once the menu pops up then press play. These two methods keep the iPod from killing your download, but allow it to go to a lower power state as well because the screen is off. I created a low quality quiet mp3 that is 2 hours long and use that as my song for downloading large files.

It works great. Especially if you have a free high speed hotspot such as a library or if you have an iPhone with good wireless coverage.

For less than the price of a latte look what you get. You have to ignore the irrelevant reviews from the techno-challenged. Maybe there should be prerequisites before you can download certain apps so that people understand the level of knowledge required - no way the app support can provide the basic tech knowledge required. It's not bad to need help just don't expect to be spoon fed.

I decided to wait a little bit until they made a file viewer for it and I'm glad I waited, this app is awesome!!!! I already had a downloader app through Readdle but it's too slow and doesn't always download what I want it to. This one is perfect and has so much potential. I haven't tried to download mp3's but I'm glad you can download more than just documents. Apple should implement this feature into safari. My only complaint is that they should add little navigation bars on the browser to make it easier and possibly an upload feature. All in all it's a really solid app. Well worth .99.

This thisng is great does what it said it do. With the new update my videos I download is not croppy nomore. It's getting better with every update. I emailed them about the choppy video and they were already working on it with this update. Great job guys.

I think this is the only app that let's you download files off the net I didn't know we could do that! It even let's you view them and acts as a wireless drive to transfer files to and from your computer. Its web browser works and can save links. I don't know why this isn't a top app it's a really great usefull utility to have.

I was skeptical but decided to give it a chance anyway and now I'm glad I did. Works just as intended. Currently you can't download files from sites that force a new page but according to the developer of this app an update fixing that problem has been submitted for approval. Edit: Update seemed to have fixed the new page bug. Browser needs some work.
