Although lots of online MCQs exist the idea for this app came after chatting to one of our medical students who was waiting in a corridor (the patient had asked him to leave) he wanted something to do for a few minutes. Why not a few MCQs!

All the Questions in this App are written by Dr Charles Roberts. He is one of my partners in Sandbach and is also a full time GP and GPSI (GP with Special Interest) in Dermatology and these photos are from his personal collection. The cases are taken from referrals to him from the 15 doctors at our health centre over the last 3 years. As such they represent what UK primary care are seeing and hopefully are therefore suitable for medical students, junior doctors and GPs.

Each question has a short explanation or advice with its answer to help you learn. The MCQs are written as a learning aid rather than an exam so are based on real life cases and relevant management rather than esoterica or rarities. They are in different sections and the app keeps track of your overall score and how you are doing in each of the sections so you can find out which you need to revise more.

The questions are written in good faith as an educational tool and shouldn't be relied on for treatment decisions but used as an self assessment tool to understand where you need more knowledge." NB Dr Roberts is not a consultant specialist providing secondary care services though as a GPSI he has mentorship from a consultant. The opinions given are his and the spellings, treatments and terminology are UK orientated though we have tried to make the questions as generic as possible.
