Posted 05/01/2012 at 3:16pm | by J.R. Bookwalter BlackBerry World kicked off in Florida today, where RIM finally gave us a peek behind the veil of its forthcoming BlackBerry 10 mobile operating system. Almost immediately, the Canadian handset maker was criticized for not innovating enough, with BB10 described as shades of the late, great webOS and having more in common with iOS and Android than Microsoft’s Windows Phone, which may be the only hope mobile users have for a refreshing new OS. Ready for the rest of the day’s news? Then read on to find out what’s making headlines for Tuesday, May 1, 2012. Nokia, you’ve been dethroned: New data from IDC reveals that Samsung is now the top dog where total mobile phone and smartphone shipments are concerned, with 42.2 million smartphones shipped in the first quarter of the year for a 29.1 percent share of the market. Here are Some Retina Ready Apps for Your New iPad
Calendar16 Fri, 16 Mar 2012 23:29:20 UTC +00:00
This is a screenshot from Galaxy on Fire 2 HD running on my iPad 2. However, the app has very recently been updated to take advantage of the new iPad’s Retina Display, so the game will look even more gorgeous on your brand New tablet. The following is a list of apps that you’ll want to pick up today, as they’ve all been suitably updated to look quadruply awesome: There are some pretty cool wallpapers being assembled over at The Verge – http://vrge.co/wfcOCh Read More
The Retina display on the new iPad, available Friday, is absolutely stunning. However, the increase in resolution actually makes some older apps appear all pixelated and gross. You don’t want to show off your brand new iPad and leave your friends with the impression that the screen on your new tablet is any less clear than a shimmering pool of unicorn tears. Here are several iPad apps that have been updated with Retina-ready graphics so everyone within eyesight can witness the pixel-pushing power of your new Apple tablet. Besides the titles that were featured in the iPad introduction event, Apple has setup a new section on the iTunes App Store to highlight Retina-ready titles. I’ve handpicked a few titles from this list and from other updates I’m aware of for you to try out. Keep in mind, this list is not comprehensive and there should be new Retina-optimized apps coming to the Read More

Apple lanza iPhoto para iPhone y iPad
Calendar16 Thu, 08 Mar 2012 09:30:37 UTC +00:00
Audio workarounds in iMovie for iOS
Calendar16 Tue, 17 Jan 2012 21:00:00 UTC +00:00
While iMovie for iOS is a technological tour-de-force that somehow crams a complete video editor into the limited real estate of an iOS app, it does have its Achilles Heel -- a less-than-stellar ability to work with audio. Macworld author, TidBits Editor, and all-around nice guy Jeff Carlson, who also just happens to have written The iMovie '11 Project Book for Peachpit Press, has written a nice roundup of audio workarounds to help you with iMovie for iOS. While I won't spoil the three well-written tips by repeating them here, I will give you an idea of Jeff's hints for getting the most out of audio in iMovie. The first addresses the fact that navigating the song list in iMovie's Audio pane is incredibly tedious. To fix this, Carlson suggests creating Smart Playlists in iTunes that ignore those songs with DRM that can't be used in iMovie videos. Carlson also notes Read More

This was a massive undertaking, with 25 separate categories all requiring their own nominations and voting from our readers. The editorial staff here at TUAW agreed with many of the reader picks, but we had our own opinions on some others. We want to thank all of the thousands of TUAW readers who took time to consider their favorite accessories and apps, nominate them for an award, and then vote in the competition. Without further ado, here's the full list of winners as well as our picks for the TUAW Best of 2011: Editor picks: 13" and 11" MacBook Air, 13" MacBook Pro Peripheral Read More

Homescreens – Oktober 2011 (iPhone + iPad)

Außerdem verstecken sich in Read More

The latest Apple iPad ad has appeared, and although slightly sappy in places, is a far better effort than their previous hit and miss efforts.  The advert implies the iPad will integrate itself in our lives to the extent where it’ll replace everything from a pen-and-paper to the TV. While starting any sentence with ‘we’ll always’ just makes me want to finish it with ‘have Paris’, the ad’s title tells watchers that they’ll carry on doing the same things, but with the iPad.  For example, it uses the phrase ‘We’ll always cook dinner and cheer for our favorite team’, and finishes with ‘But how we do all this will never be the same’. It’s a very strong message, and makes the iPad desirable, futuristic and for the first time in ages in an Apple ad, useful too.  It’s also great to see ‘real world’ use rather than boring specification talk!  There Read More

GarageBand for iPad supports uncompressed audio files with a sample rate of 44.1 kHz and 16-bit depth (the standard for audio CDs). Audio files copied from another app can be pasted to Audio Recorder or Guitar amp tracks." iMovie for iPad/iPhone has been updated to version 1.2.1 and includes: Both updates are free to existing users and available now on the App Store. Patent shows Aperture on iPad
Calendar16 Fri, 20 May 2011 07:00:00 UTC +00:00
An Apple patent filed back in 2009 shows the Aperture app running on a larger touchscreen -- something akin to the iPad, though, of course, it didn't officially exist back then. The image is actually part of a larger patent that goes through the whole process of how user interface elements work on touchscreen displays, but as you can see above, Aperture is clearly the app being shown. Apple hasn't released that app for iPad yet, though it has released a few iWork apps and even a pretty comprehensive version of iMovie on the iOS platform. The iPad didn't even have a camera at launch, but now that there is a camera in the iPad 2, it's possible Apple could be putting together a high-end photo editor for the iPad's touchscreen. Since this is a patent that's already a few years old, this only means Apple at least considered such an Read More

Vimeo Releases Free iOS App with Editing Capabilities
Calendar16 Wed, 30 Mar 2011 02:12:27 UTC +00:00
posted by Trey Trawick on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 7:12 pm.   Vimeo, a popular video sharing site targeted at content-creators, has released an official app for the iPhone. The app has iMovie-like HD video editing capabilities, complete with transitions, titles and effects, as well as the ability to use multiple clips and add different audio tracks. Users can also manage their Vimeo account, watch videos from their queue, and download existing videos to the camera roll. Completed videos can be exported and shared to the usual slew of social media sites, including Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, and more. It’s a great alternative to Apple’s $4.99 solution, and works smoothly on the latest iPod Touch. The interface is very intuitive and quite pleasant, and the app is a joy to use overall. Here’s some of what’s inside: An easy-to-use video editor • Capture video with focus control and grid alignment • Combine, edit, and Read More
The video-sharing website Vimeo has finally released an iPhone app (iTunes link). And it's totally worth the wait. The new app doesn't just allow you to watch videos on your iPhone and share them to various social networks, but lets you actually edit the video as well. The app is well-designed and easy-to-use. It includes a video recording interface that should make your mobile videos better, letting you capture video with focus control and grid alignment. Then, once recorded, you can edit and trim your videos, adding transitions, titles, special effects and music. Finished videos can be uploaded to Vimeo from within the app as well. You can upload in high- or low-resolution and - important if you're on 3G - you can pause those uploads and resume them when you're on WiFi. In fact, you'll be able to accomplish pretty much everything that you'd do on the Vimeo website from Read More
Banana TV now shipping
Calendar16 Mon, 21 Mar 2011 10:00:00 UTC +00:00
TUAW's own Erica Sadun recently announced the immediate availability of Banana TV, software that allows users to display photos and videos from any iPad, iPhone or iPod touch on a Mac connected to the same wireless network. Banana TV closes a notable gap in Apple's AirPlay streaming technology. Typically, AirPlay enables iOS devices to stream photos and videos only to a second generation Apple TV. Now, with Banana TV, customers can easily choose to use the big displays on their Macs to show off content from iOS apps that support AirPlay, including third-party apps in iOS 4.3. The software should be especially useful for customers with Macs integrated into their home entertainment systems. Any Mac can easily be connected to an HDTV directly or with inexpensive adapters. Mac users who wish to wirelessly stream video from an iOS device to their television sets can spend less buying Banana TV and a Read More
These Are the Apps That Really Show Off the iPad 2
Calendar16 Mon, 14 Mar 2011 20:57:45 UTC +00:00
Now that you have an iPad 2, you can be excused for wanting to share it with (read: rub it in the face of) those that don’t. But how best to show off the iPad 2′s specific advantages, especially at this early stage in the game? There are a few apps that should do the trick nicely. Let’s look first at the apps that come pre-installed on the iPad itself. FaceTime and Photo Booth are both new to the iPad, and Photo Booth is new to iOS altogether. Both take advantage of one of the most notable changes to the iPad in this hardware revision: the addition of a camera. Both also show off two major reasons why people want an iPad in the first place: for fun and for communication. Neither app is particularly amazing from a technical standpoint (although it is cool to see nine simultaneous live feeds being Read More

How to: Make iMovie Work on Your old iPad (Tested Method)
Calendar16 Fri, 11 Mar 2011 17:02:13 UTC +00:00
By – There’s been a tutorial floating around the internet that shows users how to get the new version of iMovie for iOS to work on their first-gen iPad. The problem is, it doesn’t work with the new, universal version of iMovie. Though we’ve found an older method (one that used to work to bring iMovie to the 3GS) and adjusted it for the first-gen iPad. Heres how it works: 1) Download the App from the App Store direct to your iTunes account (on your computer). It’s only $4.99. 2) You must now locate the iMovie IPA file on your computer. Go to: (User)>Music>iTunes>Mobile Applications > iMovie.ipa (Windows path may be slightly different, but the rest of the guide still works the same) 3) Change the extension from .ipa to .zip. 4) Unpack your newly-created .zip file 5) Look in the folder called Payload, you will find iMovie.app. Right click and Read More
Read More
iMovie Is a Universal App
Calendar16 Thu, 10 Mar 2011 18:55:37 UTC +00:00
Here’s a very cool thing that I had not noticed when Apple announced iMovie for iPad at last week’s iPad 2 unveiling event: iMovie is now a universal app, designed to run on the iPad 2, iPhone 4, or iPod Touch 4th gen. And it’s still just $4.99. That strikes me as a helluva good price for such a powerful app, for use across your iOS devices. Apple could have easily made the iPad 2 app a separate entity and charged at least $9.99 for it – probably a fair bit more and still sell tons. I’m not sure how much iOS developers will like Apple setting such a low cost for such a premium sort of app, but as a user it’s hard to dislike this. Read More

iMovie and Garageband now available for iPad
Calendar16 Thu, 10 Mar 2011 19:05:00 UTC +00:00
As expected, iMovie and GarageBand are now available on the App Store for the iPad 2 when it releases later on this week. iMovie is actually just a universal update, since the app was already available for the iPhone, but it won't run on the original iPad (GarageBand will, however). Both apps are available for $4.99. Note that the GB download is pretty big -- GarageBand will run you 370 MB, so if your iPad is already pretty full, you'll have to delete some apps or media. GarageBand offers up all of those great in-app instruments to record with, so if you have an iPad 1 or 2, it's probably a must-get. iMovie's improvements for iPhone users have yet to be tested, but it's bound to be a big hit tomorrow once the iPad 2 units hit the street. This Week at 148Apps: February 27 – March 6
Calendar16 Sun, 06 Mar 2011 11:16:34 UTC +00:00
This week, February 27 - March 6, Apple launched iPad 2, along with iOS 4.3. Light was shined on the darkness surrounding iPad 2 this week, with Apple formally launching the new device on March 2, shipping nine days later on the 11th of the month. In addition to a new, thinner and lighter design, engineers have packed in two cameras (720p HD for the back), a CPU upgrade in the form of an all-new A5 dual core processor and a gyroscope as found as in the iPhone 4. All the while, battery life and price remain the same as in the previous generation. Interestingly, and to the disappointment of many, the screen is the same 1024×768, 132ppi 9.7″ model found in iPad 1 – no match for the iPhone 4, which packs in 326ppi all within its 3.5″ display. The iMovie app is $4.99. The update to support the iPad will be available on March 11, but those with the iPhone can download the current version of the app now. Read More

The 30 Best iPhone Apps So Far This Year
Calendar16 Sat, 07 Aug 2010 18:12:54 UTC +00:00
Editor’s note: This guest post is written by Alex Ahlund, the former CEO and founder of AppVee and AndroidApps, which were acquired by mobile application directory Appolicious. About this time last year, he gave us his picks of the best iPhone apps of 2009 up until then, so we thought we’d make it an annual tradition. I’ve been involved in the iPhone app industry since it first began in 2008 and I have to say that it has come a long way. I’ve seen it grow from a meager launch of 500 applications in the App Store to currently over 225,000. In only two years, the industry has matured at hyperspeed. It spawned an entire ecosystem to support it from a multitude of news and editorial resources to developer engines, promotional services and ancillary niches. With over five billion app downloads and a billion dollars at stake, it’s no surprise that Read More

New Apps for Your iPhone: July Edition
Calendar16 Fri, 09 Jul 2010 16:34:45 UTC +00:00
There are some 225,000 mobile applications for Apple's iPhone and iPad, and counting. How on earth do you find ones that are actually worth using? You could use a recommendation service like AppsFire (itself a nifty little iPhone app too), or you could ask a friend. But every now and then, we like to round up a few of our favorites and share them with you. This latest edition of our favorite iPhone apps includes some brand new ones for you to try along with us, as well as some which may not have just launched, but which you may not have heard of either. How To Shoot and Edit iPhone 4 Videos with iMovie
Calendar16 Wed, 07 Jul 2010 18:48:53 UTC +00:00
Posted 07/07/2010 at 10:48am | by J.R. Bookwalter If you think the idea of editing video on a cell phone is crazy, you probably haven’t tried it yet. When you pair an iPhone 4 with the $4.99 iMovie app, almost anyone can capture footage, assemble the best bits, and share the finished results in minutes--all from the palm of their hand. But we understand that even the phrase “video editing” scares off many of you. So we’ve put together a guide to quickly making great videos that’ll help both newcomers and old pros get the most out of this powerful combo of hardware and the software. Last year’s video-enabled iPhone 3GS brought with it a new phenomenon: the vertically lensed movie (or what many have dubbed “tallscreen”). While they get the job done, vertical movies (shot by holding the iPhone in portrait orientation) aren’t very TV-friendly, so if you plan to Read More
There's nothing more exciting than the release of a new phone with some awesome new hardware and features. The iPhone 4 offers a great video camera that takes video in 720p. Just following the announcement that the phone would jump into the world of HD, Apple showed off their new app iMovie. This app allows users to create perfect highlight videos right from their phone without the need of a computer. But how does this app stack up? Let's take a look. iMovie for the iPhone is definitely something anyone who takes videos on their phone will enjoy. The app comes prepackaged with 5 different themes to work in and gives users access to their music to add in. The user interface is decent for what it is doing, but I couldn't help but to think that it could have been a little more thought out. Users have a timeline, preview Read More
Video shot and edited entirely on an iPhone 4
Calendar16 Tue, 29 Jun 2010 18:00:00 UTC +00:00
It had to happen eventually. Here's the first (that we know of) movie shot and edited entirely on an iPhone 4. Two years ago we saw a music video that was shot with a jailbroken iPhone and Cycorder. Of course, the iPhone 4 ups the ante with HD video and iMovie for iPhone. Director Michael Koerbel of Makek Pictures notes that the short took 48 hours to create from start to finish. He's also promised to release a full behind-the-scenes video that will document its production. And just like that, the iPhone becomes a nice little tool for filmmakers, amateur and pro alike. It's not going to replace real cameras, of course, but you can use it to make something nice, as Koerbel has demonstrated. Read More

Apple’s Awesome iOS 4 Apps
Calendar16 Mon, 28 Jun 2010 21:07:17 UTC +00:00
Apple seems to be on a roll of late with App Store app lists. First came The Best Games You’ve Never Played, a roundup of hidden gems that haven’t quite burned up the app charts. Now they’ve released the Awesome iOS 4 Apps list, a collection of apps and games that have been updated to take advantage of iOS 4′s new features, like support for the Retina Display and Multitasking/Fast App Switching. Here are some notable that have made the list: Now I haven’t tried all 42 apps on the list, but I don’t think I’d consider all of them to be awesome. I suppose it’s all a matter of personal preference and interests (and of course, apps that actually have been updated for iOS 4 already). The entire Apple roundup can be found right here on iTunes. YouTube uploads from iPhone 4 are downsized
Calendar16 Sat, 26 Jun 2010 17:00:00 UTC +00:00
Yesterday when we posted that iMovie for iPhone 4 was available on the App Store, we mentioned an important limitation on the resolution of the videos you can share with the iPhone. An Apple support document specifies that while iMovie can export a full 720p HD video if you send the video via email or import it back to iPhoto, movies uploaded from YouTube, MMS or MobileMe Gallery will be downsized to a maximum resolution of 568x320. Since then, users like Chris Pirillo have started using the app and have confirmed the restriction. Chris asked us if there are any iPhone-only workarounds that don't require transferring the video off to your Mac or PC. Unfortunately, it looks like the only way you will be able to share a full 720p HD version of iMovie videos is to transfer the file to your computer before uploading it to YouTube or any other Read More
Videoschnitt am iPhone – eine iMovie-Testfahrt (+Video)
Calendar16 Sat, 26 Jun 2010 07:23:39 UTC +00:00
iMovie for iPhone 4 – app review
Calendar16 Fri, 25 Jun 2010 15:43:20 UTC +00:00
By Leanna Lofte, Friday, Jun 25, 2010 | iMovie for iPhone 4 is a video editing application designed by Apple. iMovie is also the name of the video editing software included in iLife, which is bundled with every Mac. iMovie is only available for iPhone 4. (Don’t be sad, it needs the extra RAM and Apple A4 processing power). As with most Apple products, iMovie is very easy to use and is fairly intuitive. If a tap doesn’t do what you want, a double tap will. iMovie can be used in either portrait or landscape, but landscape seems more natural for me. While in editing mode, the top center of the screen shows your movies, the bottom of the screen has the timeline, and the sides of the screen have options: projects, upload media, upload media directly from camera, and play. When choosing media to add to your project, there are Read More
HOW TO: Use iMovie for iPhone
Calendar16 Fri, 25 Jun 2010 00:36:44 UTC +00:00
iMovie for iPhone is the official Apple application that lets iPhone users record and edit high-definition video to publish directly to YouTube or send via MMS and e-mail. The application, available for $4.99 [iTunes link], is simple to use and yet surprisingly feature-rich for something on a mobile device. Experienced video editors will have no problem picking up iMovie for iPhone 4. In fact, after a little practice and fidgeting around with the settings, even novice video editors like myself can create a polished video of various clips, music and pics in about 10 minutes. Here’s how to create your own iMovie masterpiece. iMovie for iPhone is a meaty app, which means the download process will take longer than a typical application download. Once installed, simply open the application and do as instructed, “Tap + to start a new project.” After you start a new project, you’ll be asked to select Read More

iMovie pour iPhone 4 : 3,99 euros
Calendar16 Thu, 24 Jun 2010 18:49:52 UTC +00:00

Bookwalter After being introduced during his keynote address at WWDC 2010 earlier this month, Apple CEO Steve Jobs quipped that iMovie for iPhone will be available alongside the iPhone 4 “if we approve it.” And approve it they did -- iMovie is ready to rock your new iPhone 4. Apple’s App Store elves were busy overnight in preparation of Thursday’s iPhone 4 launch, including the release of iMovie for iPhone. The new app promises to complement the new handset’s 720p HD movies, allowing you powerful editing tools in the palm of your hand. “Make beautiful HD movies anywhere with iMovie, the fun, feature-rich video editing app for iPhone 4,” the app’s description reads. “Create a video postcard of your day at the beach and publish it to the web -- without ever leaving your spot in the sand. iMovie for iPhone 4 Now Available in App Store
Calendar16 Thu, 24 Jun 2010 14:37:15 UTC +00:00
As promised during the recent Apple developer conference in San Francisco, the mobile version of Apple's iMovie software is now available for download from the iTunes App Store. iMovie, which works only with the new iPhone 4 (also publicly available as of today), lets you create HD movies using video-editing controls and features similar to those found in the iMovie desktop software for Mac. According to the app's description, iMovie for iPhone includes specific features for multi-touch, like the ability to tap to add or record video, drag to trim lengths of video clips or photos, pinch to zoom the timeline and slide to scrub through the video in your iMovie project. The app also comes with a variety of themes (Modern, Bright, Playful, Travel and News) which each offer their own set of titles, transitions and soundtrack. And you can further customize your iMovie with songs from your iTunes library Read More

‘iMovie’ für iPhone 4 veröffentlicht
Calendar16 Thu, 24 Jun 2010 07:04:05 UTC +00:00
In the last six months, we’ve seen uploads from mobile phones to YouTube jump 1700%; just since last Friday, when the iPhone 3GS came out, uploads increased by 400% a day. Read More

iMovie for iPhone 4 is now available
Calendar16 Thu, 24 Jun 2010 06:40:00 UTC +00:00
iMovie for iPhone 4 arrived on the App Store tonight, just hours before the official 7:00am launch of the iPhone 4. As promised during the WWDC keynote, the iMovie app brings the ability to edit and share videos directly to the iPhone. From transitions to titles, to adding background music to your clips, iMovie promises to offer powerful editing features that you don't typically find on a mobile device. Along with the release of the app, Apple has posted a list of frequently asked questions, as well as instructions for exporting videos from iMovie. Curiously, while the instructions detail how to export your videos in full HD (at a resolution of 720p), the summary at the top of the page suggests that your video will be scaled down to 568x320 if uploaded to YouTube, MobileMe, or sent via e-mail from the phone. A third support document posted this evening further confirms Read More

By Rene Ritchie, Thursday, Jun 24, 2010 | iMovie, Apple’s first exclusive iPhone 4 app, is no available for purchase from the iTunes App Store for $4.99. (At least the US App Store, we can’t find it in all of them yet — let us know if it’s in yours). The demos have all looked beyond slick, finger-painting with clips and transitions, themes and titles. Will it hold up to actual field use, beyond magic moments, cute kids, and pet tricks? I've been pining for this App since the keynote, and it's definitely is cool! Can't wait till Apple starts releasing some more theme packs. Could use a project export function so that projects made here can be worked on with Desktop iMovie.

Postal91 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
Need something to do, bust out the camera and start taking some vids, then go over to iMovie and start mashing it up. Well worth the 4.99!!! Very glad it's not the 9.99 price point of the other Apple apps.
Awesome, but...

Very slick application (as you'd expect.) Now, if only my iPhone 4's cell signal wouldn't drop whenever I touched the steel antennae...

Detroit Rock City 4.0 stars Version: 1.0
It works great so far. Would like to see a custom theme thing added but other than no problems.
Update
rhys felsher 4.0 stars Version: 1.3
The next update on this app, you should be able to cut and move around songs as well as the video clips
From 85 mb to 485 mb..boo!!!
Eve Severe 2.0 stars Version: 1.3
I expected more from iMovie. Maybe more than two freakin transitions. I have yet to use any themes cuz they look crappy..I have every editor for this iPhone and certainly this is just the same. Each editor lacks in certain areas. As does this one. You would think that Mac would make the best apps....c'mon Mac!! Better transitions and better text choices!!! Then you will have my five stars.. God knows you got my five bucks..Update- holy crap the app went from 85 mb to over 450 mb... With the only additions being trailers(which are cool but should not take up 300 mb. The still picture function is cool but Video Camera has been doing this for months..No extra transitions..and I cannot delete any of the trailers.. C'mon.. Put the on a server or something.. What is taking up so much space??? And no extra themes.. Just PURE gimmick. Very dissatisfied...
Needs titles & credits
Ideakitchn 3.0 stars Version: 1.3
A fun app to play around with however, there should be an option to add titles and credits to the movies and not just to the trailers. I think an ideal app would be the ability to merge movie and trailer functionality. And please enable an option to splice the videos. Overall impression, is fun!
Still No Slow Motion!
Mosiff Ya Dig! 2.0 stars Version: 1.3
Needs video effects as well. Not the worst app
Missing one little thing
Byron Garcia 5.0 stars Version: 1.3
The day I see iMovie gain the ability to use special effects I will say good bye to Sony Vegas and my laptop and say HELLO! iPad and iMovie!
Simply great!
Carter1420 5.0 stars Version: 1.3
You can make amazing movie trailers in minutes! It's so easy, worth every penny!
Great app
Sam Brody 5.0 stars Version: 1.3
This app was ok when I got it. But with the new update its amazing making movie trailers is really fun. Please do buy this app.
Needs titles, video effects, and more user control over things
Nicolas Adamakis 1.0 stars Version: 1.3
Each clip should be able to adjust video effects like BLACK AND WHITE ETC. Also should be able to adjust slow motion or faster speeds for each individual clip. Audio adjustments should be all manual for each clip letting users adjust things like VOICE ENHANCE ETC. Then way more titles to choose from with user control. Like CHOOSING THE SPOT FOR TITLES TO BE WHETHER CENTER OR SIDE ETC. PLUD CONTROL OVER FONTS AND SIZE. And then users NEED MORE TRANSITIONS!!!! Not just cross dissolve. This program is very cheaply made and makes the iPad more useless. One more thing is control over the music we insert into our projects. We should be able to adjust the length. Not sure if that is fixed.but last update we could not do this yet. Something so simple. Shows the lack of effort put into this app. THIS APP SHOULD BE JUST AS ADVANCED AS GARAGEBAND. GARAGEBAND APP FOR THE IPAD AND IPHONE IS THR BEST APP AND USERS CAN SEE AND FEEL THE EFFORT PUT INTO IT. iMovie has to be the worst app designed by you guys so far Apple. I would recommend actually fixing and adding these things.
Crashes anytime I try to export
jose pichardo 1.0 stars Version: 1.3
I tried to export a movie and it crashes every time
