I use the Intuit Merch Account Portal already. Which is kind of a hassle, I have to set up a netbook with a mag. card reader. Right now I pay $13.00 a month plus percents. If you use this app. it will cost you an additional $10.00 a month. Don't forget you pay a higher percentage when you don't scan the cards. This tool will make a few people money Intuit and your bank. For a small non- profit like ours it's not worth it. I must admit I do like the "Mail a reciept to the purchaser" feature.

that it does not connect with "intuit merchant service for quicken" -- i use quickbooks but the gopayment 20 bucks is just too much compared to the $12.95 I am using for the merchant service for quicken (I get the diff, im just sayin)

I have a Premier 2007 version of QuickBooks (3 users). Do I need to upgrade to Premier 2009 just to use this? That's another $1,200!! What a ripoff.

App is really easy to use. Handles almost all of my payment needs.

Easier to use than the other credit card apps in the store. Email and text receipts are useful. Does require a merchant account with intuit. QuickBooks 2009 or higher is only needed if you want to download txns to QB. Works on other phones too which is nice cause not all my employees have iPhones.

EXTREMELY frustrating experience just now with customer service. Also, a number of back-end costs that I was really not expecting and that are MUCH higher than other iPhone apps. I was really disappointed with this product. Have looked at other free products since then - Merchant Warehouse and iTerminal. Seems that paid products offer much better pricing on the back end (per month costs) though. Products by InnerFence and AppNinjas seem much better. Interface of this Intuit product also seemed clunky once I began getting it to work. I have uninstalled it. Very disappointed - hence this review

This is WAY cheaper than the wireless terminal I was quoted $800 for - free app for my phone and standard credit card rates. It's changed the way I do business when I am out and about.

I'm so happy I found this service! It is extremely easy to use and pricing is competitive. I was hesitant to try the other services because i couldn't tell how legitimate they were. Then I saw this one by Intuit and immediately signed up. I have three employees that I can give access to at no additional charge. They are all now accepting payment right after they have finished their job. Great, super, fabulous. Thank you!

I sighned up for this service on recommendation and it's been great. Our customers have been asking to pay by card for a while but there never seemed an easy or affordable solution. This has been a godsend. Not only are we making it easier for customers to pay but it's saving us a lot of time from going to the bank of putting together and collecting invoices. Highly recommend.

I figured I would give this a go as it is free and all however after a few seconds of using it I found it frustrating to use and the app crashes on the 3gs.

I like being able to take payment at the Job site. Would like to see a PDF file sent by e-mail instead of the crude one now provided. Included could be our business letter head and to be able to include misc info such as invoice number. Would also be nice to be able to swipe a card either by attached or Bluetooth. All in all not a bad program

I've been using intuit for years for credit card processing and was excited to hear about this app. The app is free and you only need one account for all your employees. Two of us have the iPhone app and 3 have blackberries all on the same account. There's a website where I go to manage my account and see the charges my guys ran. Easy to use and always had goof service. Would highly recommend.

Switched over two weeks ago and charged over $5000 in a weekend(selling glass at an Art show) and they sent me a letter saying they will hold the money for thirty days and that I'm of the $5000 a lotted charges.Called in to set this up with the iPad and was very clear on what my business is and how much I will be charging. They set up their own plan instead and are trying to screw me. Their costumer service is even worse, trying to find out how this happened they said it was my fault and if I had anything from them in writing. Even though they did record the agreement. 2 hours on the phone and still haven't gotten this resolved.One manager said that if I do that much in sales I should have a real merchant account, that the "go payment" was for people that sale at garage sales and little junk. Another said that maybe I need their terminal if I selling more but, this is a terminal right. Guess not.This is serious fraud and will be going to my District Attorney about it. Stay away

As a small business owner I have spent the past 2 years paying 30.00/month for a logon to a website to run credit cards. They had me on a contract so I had to "serve my time". I found GoPayments while working a quickbooks problem for a customer. GoPayments has no monthly fee, reasonable rates, and has this wonderfull app for our many IOS devices. I just love how it will utilize the touch screen and allow customers to sign, and the option to email the receipt with our company logo and a map of where the transaction took place.

This app has miles to go before it can begin to compare to Square Up! Can't accept cash payments, can't log on to the app on my iPad unless connected to the Internet, you have to enter every single size and variety of the same product as separate products instead of just an option on the same product and it needs Flash to look at the reports! yikes! Intuit, ya gotta a LOT of work to do!

They won't fund without a fight. Must want to earn a lot of interest on my money. Nothing but horse feather excuses from "risk dept". Just trying to reach someone to discuss funding is a huge challenge. Gave them all they asked for and still won't fund. I predict all app users receive notice of a class action lawsuit against them.

I've replaced my Nurit 8000 with this. Cheaper in the long run and customers love it, almost as much as me. Great job IntuitSince I wrote this review I have had nothing but problems. Excessive monthly charges, when I was supposed to have a no monthly charge plan, a charge back because a customer said my charge was unauthorized even tho I swiped her card, she signed and I provided all the info and a copy of the sales slip. They say there was no signature even to I require the customer to sign. One big problem with the app is that if the screen is touched in just the right way, it jumps to the processing screen and there is no way to go back to get the signature. I've spent countless hours on the phone and no resolution yet. Since april my no monthly fee plan has cost $559.24 in monthly fees, on $22353 in charges. They don't get my vote. If I could give negative stars if I would. It's a shame because I have recommended this to many vendors who need the ability to charge on the go. I'm moving to Square. Who knows if they are better, but I'll give them a try.I resorted to asking for photo ID and copying down the Drivers License # on my sales slip to prove that that person made the charge. Go payment doesn't know who their customer is or if they do they don't support them.Hate it, and it cost me a lot of money to learn that, need i say more?

I just opened my salon and excited that I could actually take credit card payments on my phone only to find out that Intuit sucked up all my money, held it, blamed me for an error in their software. Two weeks later I'm still waiting for my money. Swipers don't work and if you don't swipe you have to pay a higher interest. Really? How convenient for them to not have working swipers. Anyway, I switched to Square and its night and day, I can breathe again. My money is there asap and the swipers work great. As of today still waiting for my money to be returned to me from Intuit. Do yourself a favor and just get square.

I must admit, I was a little skeptical when purchasing. I've spent alot of time finding a CC company that doesn't stick it u no where when it comes to monthly fees, rate changes, liability after POS. This APP works as stated! It's simple to use and accounts receivable, I was paid in 1 day. No monthly charges, no minimums, and reasonable commissions.!!!!!!! I highly recommend for any business on the go!!!

Rates are reasonable. Quick deposits. Simple yet effective.
