All the 5 star reviews on this game are fake. If you look at the other software they've reviewed, surprise surprise, it's only Samir's stuff (the developer of this app). The developer is most likely registering fake accounts to post fake reviews of his own software ... hundreds of fake reviews in total!

This developer does poor work and is dishonest. Avoid this game. The game is poorly done. Features are minimal: no pass button, no undo, help that is lame, etc. Second, the play is run off of crude algorithms. It is weak on both medium and advanced levels. It cedes corners easily, cannot play diagonals, leaves obvious oppotrunities, etc. Black and White, a free Othello for the iPhone, is much stronger - and it could be improved. But a weak program for a buck is not a crime. A crime is FAKING all the previous reviews. Look at them. They are all short. They use the same words. Vocabulary of a ten year old. Clearly written by the same user who created multiple iTunes accounts (yes, there are companies that do this. With 50,000 iPhone aps, people are desperate to break through the noise). Do NOT buy this app. Let this guy die off. Maybe next time he will build useful software instead of submitting bogus reviews.

This application is worth 1$ if you have ever played Othello - also has great support for newbies - it's much better then a lot of stuff out there. So I would recommend it if you are looking to learn or want to play.

I don't know why people are critisizing this application - but it seems to be pretty decent and a game as it should be. I can't see anything wrong with it. If u check the screenshots you will see it has all the options othello should have. I would say it's not an extraordinary game but it has everything that othello should have. Go ahead and try it - there is nothing to loose in a buck and do review what you think about it so the developer gets some creit. It looks like some dude didn't had his Monday going right and wrote some crap about this app.

This is a nice game app. It's pretty addictive though it's not multiplayer but I assume it doesn't make sense to make it multiplayer for one single player It plays well and is great for beginners to learn the game Great work

Nice little tutor game. If you have never played othello before this is for you. It's an addictive game and works decent. I would like to see multiplayer functionality in it for the next update.

This app is not horrible, but there are better versions of this game for the same price or less.

Plays extremely badly, poor graphics. There are many better Othello/Reversi games on the app store.

I've played Othello on a hand-held game by Radica for nearly 8 years. An iPhone App seemed like fun.
