I've seen better. I do encourage these types of applications, since I find them better than letting my 4 year old daughter watch a video - at least it lessens the guilt. However, I'm not quite sure how everyone has rated this 5 stars. I found the narration distracting - I'm not really quite sure about what accent that is. See stepworks' 'the boy who cried wolf' and 'the little red hen'. Not only do I love the narration, but the animation is wonderful. The price is the same too $.99. Plus my daughter loves pressing some of the characters and getting additional sound effects. I'd probably buy another title from this company if the price stays the same, but will read them to my daughter instead of letting the narrator read - unless, they have a better narrator. These are great for travel - I don't have to lug all my daughter's books around.

While the illustrations are nice, I'm not quite sure how this is getting so many 5 star ratings? The narration is a bit distracting, the interaction is okay and not intuitive. Most of all, as a parent, I can't couldn't possibly read this to my child as it's the original Red Riding Hood text and very gruesome. An age rating would greatly help me make future purchases. Feel like I bought something I can't use! Not recommended for any children under 10!
