I would have to agree with every other review listed. I thought I was going to be able to catergorize the words or at least be able to flag them for later study, but this was not so. If the changes listed on the other reviews were made, this would be a stellar app and would have no problem paying a few bucks for it, but until then I am disappointed.

Nice quick interface. No crashes. Needs breakdown into subsets of words to work on. Needs shuffle and index functions. I will use it frequently, tho. Thanks.

I am almost done with 3 years or 18 credit hours of Greek. Since in third year we only translate septuagint and apocryphal, I wanted to be able to build up my NT vocab so that I could read my Greek New Testament more easily in personal devotion and exegesis. It looks like it'll do the job, but I agree, I wish I could organize and customize what words I would be reviewing etc. Definitely worth 99 cents.

It worked great untill I downloaded the last update. Now I can't even open the program. I have an iphone 3G so that might be the problem. Also, I don't like how u have to go through all 400 words before it will let you review words you having troble with. If u could make this work more like the computer program "genoskogreek" that would be great.

Bought this app to review my greek, but thus far, it has not been very helpful. Perhaps I don't understand how to use it. I can find no documentation anywhere to help me if so. Every time I open it, it begins the review and the test mode with the same word in the list. Can you not randomize the words, or better - begin where you left off? The splash page said you could "review words of choice." Not sure how this works - can't find any way to set a preference. I'm a reasonably smart guy, but maybe I'm missing something. I agree, the addition of an index would make this a helpful, basic dictionary. Thus far it has not been helpful (the same scenario is true of the iStudy Spanish in the same series which I also bought). I don't want to bash this series of apps, but I cannot use them as is. If I'm just dumb and don't know how to use it, there should be at least some documentation on the web for instructions.

The interface is truly elegant and functional. However, it is a shame that the Greek text itself is often marred by incorrect beathing marks and the lack of final sigmas.

Great app either for learning or refreshing vocab. I am enjoying it. For improvement, I would suggest: More words- perhaps all the words used 50 or more times in the GNT. The ability to order the words by the user. GNT grammars introduce new words in each chapter. This would be a great study aid for beginners. Ability to add words by the user. You might want to add case endings for nouns and congigations for verbs. This would be a big effort. Might require an upgrade charge or a separate "advanced" app. Also in test mode, it would be helpful to be able to quit the app in the middle, go to another message and return to the same place in the test. I seldom have the time to finish the test. It would be great to take it in segments over a period of time.

Would you please fix the final sigma on cards 106-115. A mistake like this makes one wonder if you really know Greek.

If you have the Baugh book this has the vocab words you want. The bad thing is you only have the option to quiz on all the words in the book at once. If you could select a list of words to quiz so you could quiz as you learn the vocab it would be perfect. As is it has limited usefullness. You can look at cards with both the word and definition but you have to start at the first word in the book every time and you can't mix them up.
