Reviews

Exceeded my expectations
Juan Roa 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
I was a little doubtful as I was buying it. I downloaded the software for my mac which required no complicated set up. I bought the app, synced it to my iphone and launched it. Immediately the device's name appeared in the device chooser on my mac. I paired it and thats it. Think of it as pairing your bluetooth mouse, as simple as that. Then then app worked flawlessly, it pretty much works exactly like your track pad. I am very satisfied with my purchase. Definitely worth the money. I do hope to see a keyboard feature soon that would make this app even greater.

iTap Is Simply Amazing Its A Cheap Implatation Of A Wireless Mouse And Soon Should Have A KeyBoard And Other Important Feautures Now For Installation On WINDOWS XP ; To Install iTap On Your XP Simply Install The App To Your Iphone/Ipod Touch Then Go To The Companys Website And Download iTap PORTABLE For Windows It Should Be A ZIP Archive..Just Extract The ZIP Archive And Double Click On The Program....There Shall Now Be A Window Asking To Pair To Device...Open The App On Your Iphone/Ipod Touch And The Name Of Your Device Should Show Up Just Pair It With iTap And There You Go (iTap Must Be Opened And Paired With Your Device For It To Work..It Can Be Paired With Any XP Using This Method)
Excellent implementation...

I have a Mac Mini hooked up to my 42 inch LCD which acts as a home theater setup. I tried the Logitech Air Mouse which was not very accurate and tiresome to use constantly. Currently, I have a wireless Logitech MX revolution mouse where I can surf while on the couch. But the iTap is a welcome relief from having to use the mouse exclusively. It's actually fairly accurate: scrolling and clicking and choosing items are pleasantly responsive. The 2 finger scroll works well and there is little delay, unlike scrolling on Snatchtest. Nice execution gentlemen!
Wonderful Little App

I was going to spend a good deal of money on a new bluetooth mouse or something similar for my Media Center PC, but decided to give this a shot first. Wow. Had it up and running with no problem, within 3 minutes. Perfect app, and fantastic price! Takes a little getting used to the feel, but I think that's something I can adjust from settings. If you have a computer that you need to control from a distance, grab this. Works with Mac and PC, and for less than other apps that only do PC... :)
Wow!

Wow! That is all I have to say about iTap...Wow!
Not working well for me at all...

I really like the concept, but my iMac is set to run on a 802.11n network, which means that the signal has to go from my 802.11g iPhone to an AirPort Express running 802.11g, then via Ethernet cable to an Extreme running 802.11n, then jump via WiFi to another Extreme, and then make the final WiFi hop over to my iMac.
Awesome app!

Love this app way better than that air mouse s@&t!
Works like a charm on both Mac & Windows!
amandastea 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
I have both Mac OS X 10.4 and Windows XP laptops, so I try to find solutions that work on both whenever I can. And it's a happy thing that iTap works as described on both machines on multiple screens (2 screens for each)!
No-fuss setup, works great!
inuchan 5.0 stars Version: 1.1
This app is really great - it took me 30 seconds and 2 clicks to set up, and the response is great, even when used over a high-traffic university network.
Works great!
Jd126ken 5.0 stars Version: 1.1
This app works great and is very responsive. My only suggestion is to put the instructions in a different page or menu other than the interface.
Great product!!!
sstaff 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
Works just as advertised. This is a perfect solution for powerpoint presentations.
so close to perfect...
Ravi 5.0 stars Version: 2.0
this app works perfectly on my xp machine, but the only problem is that it uses up the battery very quickly.
FINALLY! EXACTLY WHAT I NEED!!!!
vbmike 5.0 stars Version: 1.1
This is EXACTLY what I have been looking for. Ever since I bought my Mac Book Pro, I like to hook it up to my TV and use it with my wireless keyboard and mouse. But it's hard to use a mouse on the couch. I wanted someone to design a wireless touch pad just like the one on the Mac Book, so I could just move my finger and keep the device stationary. But I couldn't think of any other application where someone would use something like that, so I gave up on looking for one. This is PERFECT!!! I wish there were more useful yet simple apps out there like this one. Great idea whoever came up with this one!
Works great!
Fullhousea8 5.0 stars Version: 1.1
Easiest to install. Took seconds. Easy to use. One thing though, just a slight delay with the mouse but I can live with that. Thanks for a great app!!
None better

Just used this and thought I made a mistake with the purchase. I found this program called snatch that does the same thing and boasted about it's rewards. I didn't feel like setting it up but curiosity got the best of me. First I tried snatch which was ok but wow was the mouse buggy and sluggish. Then I decided to give this app a go...WOW! The mouse is so smooth and responsive and the keyboard has everything, even a volume slider to the comp I was suprised about. Best wireless keyboard/mouse app PERIOD. Well worth the money and 5 stars!
Most useful iphone app I have seen yet!!
kentcr 5.0 stars Version: 2.0
This is the greatest iPhone app I have gotten yet. It is the only mouse I use on my computers, work and home, now. It brings the beauty of the iPhone interface to the Mac. I look forward to future improvements like may be having the two finger expand and contract feature work for things like iPhoto or Aperture. It's a steal for 4 bucks!
Works nicely
Shehan 5.0 stars Version: 2.0
Useful app, takes very little time to get used to it. Need to test on uni computers. Their website is quite useful.
It's worth it!!!
matrix_glitch 5.0 stars Version: 2.0
Perfect for my powerpoint presentations. A great alternative to those $75 powerpoint wireless clickers.
Simply AWESOME
kingkjun 5.0 stars Version: 2.0
I have 3 macs at home: iMac 24", MacBook, MacMini and let me just say, this application works seemlessly across all 3 Macs! The keyboard is awesome and the trackpad is amazing. I highly recommend anyone that has a Home Theater to install this application. I currently installed this app on my iPhone and just can't believe it. The mini is installed to a 42" LCD and I can now put away my clunky wireless keyboard and mouse and use my iPhone to control the mini. Blows my friends away! LOL

Nice.....Good Job but I hope it has keyboard too
I Love It! Here is HOW I SET IT UP
Queen Vandry 4.0 stars Version: 1.1
I love this app! Exactly what I needed. The controls were confusing at first and so is the set up but very useful once you've got a grasp on it! Here is how I got mine to work.
Works with EyeTV!
Chilefornian1 5.0 stars Version: 2.1
I tend to misplace my little white remote, which is really annoying because I watch TV on my iMac using an EyeTV tuner. I chose this as my remote app because it's not marketed as a remote, per se -- the reviews say that the remote apps do not work with EyeTV. With iTap I can use the pointer to control the tv, or I can use the keyboard to change channels. You have to download an app to pair device with computer, but it's quick and painless. I don't have to search for my remote anymore, so it was worth the money.
I feel even more lazier, ha...
MARCOalexi 5.0 stars Version: 2.1
This is one of the most phenomenal apps I ever got. It works great with vista ultimate. Mouse pointer and keyboard work flawlessly.
Great mouse app
touchyFISH123 5.0 stars Version: 2.1
This app does exactly what it says. It works as a trackpad, just like on a MacBook. I haven't seen any lag issues while using it to control my iMac. I would definitely recommend this. One other note, two finger scrolling works very well. Pointer is also just as accurate as a normal trackpad. This app pretty much screams "Buy Me" to anybody like me who is too lazy to stand up to move the mouse, or soon to type something. Bottom line, great app.
Great Idea, but implementation needs help
