I am a professional sound engineer and I definitely recommend this app. though this isn't officially supported for Logic, I have been using it with great results. each update improves it more and more because the developer is a musician and really cares about his product. This is the music app I've been waiting for! It works great for Ableton Live (set your Midi prefs to use it for Mackie Control). You can also use limited controls in Reason (I tried it in Reason 3.0.5). Transport works, and the 8 faders work with a mixer track selected. This is perfect for my home studio. No need to get a bulky controller now.

I got this working with Logic Studio 8 within five minutes! I would like to see more feedback displayed on the iPhone screen, such as channel number or name above or below each channel. Would also be nice to see location (bars/beats or smtpe) near the transport controls so you know where in the song you are. Transport functions are what are most important to me. A scrub wheel or some sort of slider (like the pitch wheel on iTM Keys) would also be a request. Thanks for such a great app!

This app is not quite working with Logic in a stable fashion.You can tell it is close though,need to have snappier graphics eventually.I bought it and will happily wait for the update-Well Done!

I think this is probably one of, if not the best, app I have come across here at the app store. Works quite well with Ableton Live (haven't tried Logic yet...), and was incredibly easy to set up and use. Don't get me wrong, I don't see me using the faders in a live performance context, but I actually could see me using the clip navigation while playing live. I actually like the clip navigation better than my MacBook Pro's arrow keys, because it never loses focus if I tweak an effect. There is a slight latency, but most of the time I do not notice it at all. Also, I sometimes find myself accidentally hitting the record arm buttons at the bottom of the faders. Overall, though, this is a very good product and I tip my hat to the developer and eagerly await future products.

All the ITM apps work with GarageBand and Logic except this one. Can't get it to work at all. I tried Digital Performer also setting up as a Mackie device....nothing. All it does is play notes when you tap the controls. Pretty disappointing, but I guess more support will help in the future. I assumed because it was an Apple OSX app that it would work with Apple audio software. Not the case. Any chance of Vista/PC drivers in the future?

This app is a great value. Every update improves compatability will Logic Pro. I learned how to make it fully functional by reading the forums on the iTM MCU site. Logic users need more apps like this!

Installation locked up my 1st gen iPhone. Once successfully installed, faders don't respond in Ableton Live. transport and clip navigation is fine. Tried it with Logic Pro 8, and the host app crashes immediately - I couldn't get it to run at all.

This is a great idea, but this app needs alot more work! I didn't have problems using the midi controller app, but this is the one I really need. Please add support for Digital Performer 6.

Tried it with Cubase, only partially functional. the transport keys work most of the time, but the faders do not. a window with 1 long fader and a pan control would be great for actual adjustments. Also, unless I am missing something, some instructions posted somewhere would be useful

SUCCESS!!! I am a drummer and this comes in handy. I can control my DAW from my drumset, without having to go back and forth to my computer.

I have this running Win XP pro, with Mackie Tracktion. It works, but it needs a rather large list of enhancements to make it really useful, IMO. I think a multi display UI would do it wonders. One screen just for transport control, as it desperately needs a jog wheel, and a button for placing markers. The faders need to have their own screen and each one needs to have text identification as to what track it is controlling (track names on them). They also need a much longer throw for fine adjustment (think portrait view). The solo/mute buttons need to be designed in such a way as to not limit the amount of fader movement. Pan controls are a must. It might need a 'master fader' too - perhaps on the transport screen. As I say; Good start, but it's not really useful as any more than a remote record button at this point, to me at least. Looking forward to the updates and improvements.

This works perfectly in Digital Performer 6.2. And whoever the guy was who helped me this morning on iChat ( I am pretty sure it was the developer ) THANK YOU !! The ability to control my DAW over WiFi has huge possibilities.

It is very convenient to have a handheld transport! My only request is a fader lock-out function for accidental volume adjustments. Cheers!

Your almost in the untapped market that far out labs won't touch. The impulse buy for those like me who want to press record while sitting at the drums or standing at the mic. I suggest you get a move on this version becomes garageband and Protools and lastly logic compatible. You will be rich!

I downloaded this app to use it with cubase 4 and I had some problem because I was using it as a mackie HUI on cubase but it worked when I used it as mackie control (cubase gives u those options when u add a midi controller) after that it worked great but only sending midi to cubase when u use the itouchmidi as the midi output control the app freezes I think it's because the app can't handle recieving the midi messages from cubase, other than that the app works like a charm great concept hopelly the app's designers will take that into acount and make it work, great job with this app!!!

I realize it's "officially" not compatible with logic but says it is, even on their page...I can't even get the thing to communicate or setup with my mac...I see my mac on it's list of servers but never connects...would like to figure out how to get it to work

I love this app although it would be so much more useful if you could control more than 1 fader at once. Just an idea . By the way I've tried with g band and reason and have had nothing but good results. Remember 2 set up as a mackie control surface in reason.

At first I was having all kinds of trouble getting the app to connect and was ready to ask for my money back. But I went to the website and got the tech email and they kept up with me until we got it to work. I'm using logic pro 9. The transport controls work great but the faders need some work. They default at the bottom instead of what's on logic's mixer... But all in all it's not that bad....needs some work but not bad..
