Don't waste your time or money on lesser RDP applications. Jaadu Remote Desktop is the only one truly designed for the iPhone. The "secret sauce" is the user interface. Rather than putting the remote cursor directly under your finger, you "push" it around, as if your screen were a transparent trackpad. This yields a number of benefits. First and most important, it enables you to see what's under the cursor, so you can position it precisely over controls that are typically going to be too small to operate accurately otherwise. Second, it combines panning functionality with cursor movement, which eliminates a lot of hassle trying to navigate around the remote screen. It's out-of-the-box thinking and nothing less than brilliant.

This is exactly what I needed! If your a windows admin with and iphone then you NEED this program!

I've been searching for the ultimate pocketable PC for some time. I have the oqo 02 w/ EV-DO and I have a Dell Vostro 1400 with built-in EV-DO. I also have the iphone. Because of this program I have now decided to eliminate the OQO via ebay and keep just the iphone 3g and the Dell Vostro 1400 w/ EV-DO. I also don't see the point in a netbook any more. Or even an OQO or Fujitsu U820 style device. I have an Iphone 3g with the incase slider battery case. The iphone 3g plus Jaadu Remote Desktop and the aforementioned batt-pack give me the freedom I've been seeking. All too often I've been on call and unable to respond to an IT emergency without loosing my place in line to go get the laptop from the car or praying to catch the backup Admin via cell.

After having used both WinAdmin and Remote Desktop Lite, I had given up on finding a stable, non-buggy piece of remote desktop software. I decided to give Jaadu a shot after hearing about it from a friend and I was blown away. Not only is the app incredibly stable, the UI is intuitive and easy to use. The real value though is in the support, which is just fantastic. I had my questions over e-mail responded to in a very short time, and the answers were clear and simple. This is a great app!

I was a bit concerned about the price and if it worked but considered the need to have this tool on my upcoming trip, I thought, Just Do It! All I can say is WOW! It performs extremely well and has not failed once. I easily added 10 of the Windows 2003 Std servers that I monitor and took a test drive. I found it very intuitive except for the right-click which I had to go to their website for, (two finger tap). I also added my own desktop that let's me keep up with my billing. I even tried to used my LogMeInRescue to remotely control other clients on demand including Macs! Truly amazing product! I highly recommend it to any tech. To use it you do need some IT knowledge which I suspect is the reason for several of the bad reviews. This is not a toy but a business class app! Thank you from a beach in Cancun!

I was skeptical & had questions that were answered clearly and quickly. The support is amazing! I encountered problems on my end with my firewall and wireless router. I emailed support at 4:30am on a Sunday no less and had an answer by 8:30am the same morning! Questions since I started using Remote Desktop were answered clearly and personally (no cut & paste replies) in an amazingly short time frame.

Simply amazing and more than what I was looking for! Great job! This is as close as you can get to full, true RDP support! A bit pricey but worth it! Only one suggestion though... Make the right click function a simple 2 second hold instead of a 2 finger tap. :). This way you never have to use more than 1 finger unless you want to zoom. I lied, one more suggestion... Add network drive support to allow file transfers between the iPod/iPhone and the computer.

I just purchased this app based on the glowing reviews and there is no support other than what you'll find on the web. I have sent several e-mails to Jaadu suppot and haven't recieved one response - - and Apple Care won't help you either - - I tried. I consider myself a solid "b" when it comes to configuring my computer and have done back flips trying to get this app to work. This is very dissappointing - - especially when you stop to consider that this is the most expensive app in the App Store - - and no real support. Know what you're getting into - - paying a premium doesn't always mean robust service!!
