Jurassic Park: The Game 1 HD Review
Calendar16 Tue, 22 Nov 2011 16:04:27 UTC +00:00
iPad Only App $6.99 Our Review By Jennifer Allen on November 22nd, 2011 Rating: :: LACKING The much anticipated Telltale Games adaptation of the classic dinosaur blockbuster. Developer: Price: $6.99 Version Reviewed: 1.0 Device Reviewed On: iPad 2 Graphics / Sound Rating: Game Controls Rating: Gameplay Rating: Replay Value Rating: Overall Rating: I was the perfect age for Jurassic Park when the movie first came out. Aged 9, I’d been a huge dinosaur fan for 3 years previously. The film captured my imagination in a way that very few films have managed since. Sure, the park was dangerous but I’d have willingly gone to visit it nonetheless. Jurassic Park: The Game 1 offers that chance to visit Isla Nublar although exploration is a little limited. Taking a different path to Telltale Games’ previous titles, Jurassic Park: The Game 1 is essentially an interactive movie. Following the story of the first Jurassic Read More
[iPad-2-Game] Jurassic Park Episode 1

Die Stimmung Read More
On this week's TouchArcade Show, we spend a good chunk of the introductory phase of the show talking about the latest and hottest ... in console games. But immediately after my Skyrim outburst and our shared Modern Warfare 3 discussion, we DO dig into iOS. Jurassic Park: The Game leads the foray. Games like Minecraft: Pocket Edition and Space Tripper, as well as news stories including Apple's decision to pull Texas Hold'Em round out the rest of one of our rocking-est podcasts yet. 'Jurassic Park: The Game' Review - A Technical Disaster
Calendar16 Thu, 17 Nov 2011 21:35:52 UTC +00:00
Jurassic Park: The Game 1 HD [$6.99] is a mixed bag. On one hand, it's a technically messy and poorly optimized iPad 2 exclusive. It stutters and drops frames so consistently that it becomes nearly impossible to enjoy, no less play. And even when you're willing to forgive this fairly fundamental flaw, the roller-coaster-y placement of its sluggish and mundane puzzles has a habit of obliterating the tension it succeeds in building. But on the other hand, this is a Telltale production. The characters, which are newcomers to the universe, are handled with care and written as if they were, actually, people; the story is laced with excitement and drama conveyed with a palpable reverence for the source material; and when the game is actually clicking, the tension and the pull of its beats are enormous. The story takes place in Jurassic Park sans electrical fences -- basically, right after Dr. Read More
Jurassic Park Roars Its Way To The iPad 2

By Jennifer Allen on November 16th, 2011 The ideal game for dinosaur fans, surely? Exciting times dinosaur fans! Jurassic Park has hit iPad 2s! Not literally obviously as no one would like a T-Rex to crush their beloved gadget. No, I’m talking about Jurassic Park: The Game, hotly anticipated since Telltale Games announced it earlier in the year. Maximizing the processing power of the iPad 2, Jurassic Park: The Game promises breath-taking cinematic scenes and some darn impressive graphics. Players will be taken back to Isla Nublar during the events of the first Jurassic Park film and be able to interact with the storyline in a brand new way. While many locations will be familiar to fans, there will also be plenty of new areas to explore as we discussed earlier this week. Jurassic Park: The Game also comes with AirPlay functionality so that players can see the action on their Read More
Jurassic Park: The Game 1 HD ya disponible para iPad 2
Calendar16 Wed, 16 Nov 2011 14:39:11 UTC +00:00
Disponible: App Store Precio: 5,49€ Read More
As a huge Jurassic Park fan, I only need to hear about three notes of the theme song before I instinctively get… Well, probably more excited than a nearly-30-year-old should get over dinosaurs. We've heard more than a few rumblings of Telltale's plans to release the Jurassic Park-themed adventure game on the App Store, and it's finally here along with a brand new trailer that goes over all of its iPad 2 exclusiveness. Jurassic Park: The Game 1 HD [$6.99] (say that three times fast) is the first installment in the series, and takes place during the events of the second half of the first Jurassic Park movie. I've always thought the Jurassic Park universe was fantastic, and am beyond stoked that I'll be able to delve into a new adventure on my iPad 2. It's unfortunate that Telltale has dropped iPad support, but if you've played any of their recent Read More

Started playing the game and got through the prologue before the game started to skip and lag. Game seems pretty cool but these skips and lagging make it almost impossible to play. IPad 2 iOS 5.
