I love games that get you out in the real world. I'm a long-time geocacher, so this game is right up my alley. Been playing just a few days and I'm already hooked!

First off, this game seems like it's still in beta. It doesn't give you any info as to what to do. It's really slow and anything you click on makes the phone buzz, which means it's pretty much buzzing the whole time you're logged in. I checked the leaderboards and it shows people going all over like one guy was in the UK, then Japan, and then Germany, in that order in less than a day. Seems like a decent idea with poor execution. Too bad.

After downloading this game, you must sign up for an account. While free, it literally bombards that email address with spam. Minutes after signing up, my chosen email address (luckily not my main email) was sent over 17 spam messages from several survey sites, with multiple emails from each site. If you don't mind this company selling your email address to pay for the app, or, you have a throw away email address then knock yourself out. Personally, I'd rather pay 99 cents for another app that won't spam me with no warning.

This game is deep in its gameplay, but still very simple. You start by picking a faction, Cine or Sage. From there you claim virtual parcels of land overlaid on a real map of your current location. You can collect items and currency which can be exchanged for defensive shields or offensive bombs. The real fun comes from battling your friends, stealing their parcels, and taking hold of as much land and resources as possible.
