Having book with graphics is great but sometime you learn more by watching others. With this app, you look up the type of knot you might need and play a video with someone explaining and showing how it's done, just like in the boy scouts or father and son. My wife loved the app and learned how to tie two knots like a pro in no time! App will come in handy on the road, camping or securing a Christmas tree to your car. Con: Videos use up more battery life. So I would like to see the text and graphics added for each knot. Then you have a choose of which to use. For the price, it's a handyman must!

Not bad. The volume is a little soft on the videos. I would like to see more knots, knot catagorization, and perhaps the ability to play the videos back at half speed. Nice start though.

This would be perfect if each word in the list had a small icon with a picture of the knot next to it. This would be good to identify knots you don't know by name, but know what it looks like.

I love this app! Has come in handy many times! I learned most of these knots in scouts but that was a long long time ago. Wish I had it all along! Worth the money! I hope updates come with more knots! Great job guys! Keep it up!

the use of short videos to demonstrate something is fantastic. Excellent quality video and good sound makes an excellent learning tool, and this hopefully will be the start of a new wave of instruction. Looking forward to more knots, and other subjects by this author.

I have to say that this is well worth the money. I agree that the audio is a bit low and a half speed video choice would be nice. Looking forward to updates. A great app!

Id just like to see the chain knot which I use for boating very often to keep the rope neat and the best way to untie the knots in the videos.

I like products like this that I can actually use. I had my ipod with me last weekend on a family camping trip and I was able to rig up a nice tight clothes line with the rolling hitch. The kids were impressed!

Well it didn't comp. with my ipod and i have the latest touch update so i just took my money. O well

I love this app. It is nice to have something that is actually useful. The developers are helpful and responsive. I like the new categories and am excited to see what else is coming.

I can't remember knots no matter how many times I tie them, so this is a nice thing to have available when I need to keep some unwieldy thing I've bought at Home Depot from flying out of my pickup and bouncing off your hood. The videos are clear and easy to follow, but an illustration of the knot along with the written description would also be handy.

Excellent job! This app has so many useful knots and has never crashed on me. The tutorials are well put and so easy to rewind and watch again if you get lost.

I was not expecting much for 99 cents. What I got was much more than I expected. The tutorials are simple and the narration easy to listen to. Hope to see more soon. Great job!

I find the videos clear, concise, and very helpful in learning new knots. What I would like to see in a future update is, when the video ends, to keep the final frame visible on the screen. As it is now, when the video ends, you are taken back to the list of knots/videos. I like having the visual of the completed tied knot to compare with my own.

I have two other apps on knots. This one, far and away, is the best! The others draw pictures about how to make a particular knot. This one has videos on how to make them. It so much easier to learn how to make a knot when you see someone doing it. There are General knots, Boating knots, Mountaineering knots, Fishing knots, and Lashings. This IS MY FAVORITE!!

some how with the 3g s the videos in the app have gone green some sort of screen or something. other than that i love this app. i hope for an update to fix that.

Great concept, but none of the videos that demonstrate how to tie knots will display on my iPhone (brand new).

This app is awesome! I've been using it every day since installed. Could have some more knots, but no complaints whatsoever. Worth every cent!
