This app is so much fun! I love it! I recently have started traveling more, and so already today I've plugged in some of my destinations for the next few months. It is really cool to see what kind of wildlife (since I like to hike a lot too) will be in any given area. For instance I was recently near Houston for a trip - so when I got this app I plugged in Houston - and they've got Alligators! I never knew! Some of the descriptions are really funny too. What a cool idea.

I buy and dl a LOT of apps and this one is one of my top fives. It's fun and informative and really what more do we want from an app? Looks cool feels cool is cool.

By adding so much in the latest upgrade, they've taken a great app and made it even better.

I got this app a few days ago and have been playing with it since, and I am thoroughly impressed. The makers obviously spent a ton of time compiling all of the information into an extremely attractive and entertaining package. 

The overall design and animation is some of the best work I've seen an iPhone app so far. I can't wait to see how the app evolves, and what else Elany Arts comes out with. For a first app out the gate this is quite stellar. Grab it now while it's cheap before these guys have a hit on their hands and jack up the price.

This app is so much fun to use! What a great way to have so much info at the tip of your fingers! My kids LOVE checking out the wildlife that surrounds us while we are hiking at the local state park. We also gets lots of laughs reading the prognosis of the area you are in right now. The overall Lethal index is really interesting and I can't wait to use this app when I travel to different locales and cities. You got to get this app!!

The update to this app is substantial. It really turns it from a novelty into more of a useable tool. The more specific information is very helpful. It would be nice to be able to search for a city name as scrolling can take a while. If the data is available, go for even smaller units. Some areas that I noticed missing are much smaller areas like Pacoima. Also a great addition would be a category for gang activity and drug related crimes. Prison locations and proximities would also be very eye opening!

From the well thought out design to the subtle humor in the articles, this app is a must own. It's especially good for frequent travelers, but, as I learned, you can KILL lots of time browsing the the "Lethal Ratings" of many places around the country. It strikes the perfect balance between education and entertainment: a flawless implementation of a very creative idea. Kudos!

I always like to have info handy but this app gives me quick info that would take me months to compile--if I even could do it then! It's good to know what's in an area--especially the dangers. This is no joke....I'm confused by the one person's comments that this is a prank. It's better than reading an encyclopedia because everything is up to date. I love it! The price could be a lot more for this kind of info! Thank you, Elany Arts. I'll be watching for more apps from you!

This app is brilliant. Informative and funny too. Perfect for travel, great conversation piece. Where are you from? What's the most lethal place you've ever been? A must have for your iPod or iPhone. Tell your friends!

This is without a doubt one of my favorite iPhone apps. I've never taken the time to write a review, but this app deserves the recommendation. Informative, fun, and a great design. This is an app to show to all your friends that don't have an iPhone to make them even more jealous.

This is a great app, it's really funny to see your area. All I want is a search mode not just browse. I've pretty much looked at all the pre determined areas haha.

I completely cracked up when I found out the statistics of my area. Being a sociology major, this is really useful when trying to grab facts on the spot!

The developers seemed to take alot the comments/suggestions into account with this first upgrade. I love the rank feature, so I can easily search for lethal category rankings that interest me. An added bonus - you can play some fun guessing games with friends when wanting to kill some time!

This app is really quite cool. I love the graphics and the humor. These guys really knew what they were doing when they came up with this one. I totally have recommended this app to friends and even shown it off to strangers when waiting in line somewhere. Entertaining and pure logic. Looking forward to whatever else these guys have up their sleeve! Don't keep us waiting too long Elany Arts!

This definitely works. How's it a prank? I'd recommend it to anyone. Even if you're not a traveler it's fun to see how dangerous other places are.

This is a fun app, I love it! It is interesting, informative, easy to use, and entertaining. I have enjoyed looking up the lethal index for all the different locations (especially if I know people who live in/near that location). Overall, I am very pleased with this app. I have noticed a couple grammatical errors, and a typo here and there, and I would like to see more locations added (my own location, or the largest city near it, is not available), but I have no regrets. As to the comment one reviewer made about saving our money, I would just like to say that I have spent more than the price of this app on a truly disappointing movie, or on a latte that was drunk and gone in just a few minutes. I have received, and am looking forward to receiving, a great deal of enjoyment for the money I spent. I would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone. Plunk your money down, you won't be sorry!

Some inaccuracies, but very entertaining. Has somewhat accurate stats but also misinformation. For instance, hurricanes in detroit. Can be made into a 5star app if it was a little more accurate, had more places,(international would be big step up) and retained the humor.

No proprietary sources only four free ones compiled oddly for example wildlife threat which is based on the number of species present from a list, not on attacks or deaths. Only around 4 cities per state to browse from, and my city of more than 300000 didn't show up but as a lay/long so I don't know if the data accurate. I'm convinced these glowing reviews are from the developers and friends. Nifty looking, but save your money

Don't waste your money. Even after the update my city is not included (it's 150,000 population) nor are all the neighboring cities. As I live inland, I am not at risk from sharks. They claim to use the FBI crime stats yet the FBI rates my city as 2nd safest in the nation. Lethal rates most crime categories at ~35 times the national average. Send me $2 and I'll forward you useless information too.

It seem the NYC borough I go it's the same out come. This app. Stated that there are tornados in the flushing area of queens... Not true. Copper head snake in forest hills queens, not true. This app. Is whack!

And that's being generous. Needs to be built out to offer more details on the potential threats. It's all basic trivia without any kind of localized info. Would suggest built in newsstories from the user's location on each threat. Needs more location options. If you're not in a major city or state park (weird...), you're SOL.

I was fooled into thinking this was genuine. Five Stars for pulling a decent prank on me. Nice graphics though and it is funny the lines this app comes up with.

Amazing app, definitly worth the ,99. The prognosis is hilarious and it could actually come in handy. This comes with interesting statistics and more, so worth it!!!

Fun little program but don't take it too seriously. It said that mosquito and crocodile attacks were "low" in the Florida Everglades...

Pretty cool app, but I live in San Diego and it says that's the most disease-ridden place in the U.S.! (and Canada)

There is no Tornadoes, dangerous Earthquakes, were we live. There is also no Great White Sharks in the middle of the forest in Washington. Other than that its a fun app but don't live by it!

Would be perfect if we could do side by side comparisons of cities/states. I've always thought that the features of this app should be incorporated into every car gps system. Nice job Elany Arts. Keep the updates coming.
