Lifehacker app now available for the iPhone, iPod touch
Calendar16 Fri, 19 Mar 2010 09:23:33 UTC +00:00
Lifehacker is one of my favorite websites, and although I follow all of the posts by way of an RSS subscription in Google Reader I was excited to see they now have a dedicated app. If nothing else it just gives me quick access to check the site. Feature wise the app will allow you to: Of course in the end I suppose the usefulness of a single site app depends on the user. As a general rule I follow and read lots of sites and that tends to make single site apps not as helpful for me. But that said, Lifehacker is one that I like to pop in from time to time when I am looking to kill some time. Those interested in downloading and checking out the app can do so by hitting the App Store (link below), and best of all, the app is available for free. Read More
Lifehacker Now Has an iPhone App
Calendar16 Thu, 18 Mar 2010 15:17:55 UTC +00:00
– the ultimate web site for tips and tricks on every subject under the sun – now has its own iPhone app.  Here are some of its main features: These don’t sound revolutionary and I’m generally not a fan of single-site apps (I prefer RSS readers and other more central new sources) – but hey, this is Lifehacker.  If you’re not one for following lots of RSS feeds and only tend to follow a few major sites, and have the home screen space, this may be a good one for you to check out. You’ll find it in the App Store here, and it’s free. Read More

Finally!

I've been waiting for them to release an app. Their website is one of my favorites. I'm looking forward to seeing what the app has to offer.
Good start but needs a few things

I love Lifehacker so this app is a welcome addition. However, it needs a search engine and maybe a way to build/add your own "tag" feed sections. Also, it could use some speed loading articles; right now is quite slow.
Great

Nice to see here. Hoping Gizmodo is not far behind in a release too.
So far it's great!

I have to say this is the first time I've taken the time to review an app. But I read lifehacker daily and couldn't wait for an Iphone app. Between this and Engadget, I think I've got all I need to stay informed. Great job, it's performing perfectly for me.
