Compare to the other language applications on iTune, this program has nice and loud pronunciation. Good sets of words and phrases. Highly recommend! Excellent customer support! BTW- make sure you don't have the ringer set to silent or you won't be able to hear the audio.

Application fails to launch after update.

Love it! A must for anyone visiting China. It will be especially useful to those attending the Olympics in August 2008. Hope to see this program expanded in the future, for those of us who plan on residing here.

This app looks great. There are many useful phrases and the spoken translations are great. Lastly, almost as important as the quality of the application is the customer service. In short the service is excellent. Remember to turn on your ringer to hear the translations.

Looks great. Sounds great. If it had more phrases I would have given it a five. Regardless, it's very sufficient for someone traveling to China.

Bought this app. Have some problem with my connection and it got cut off while downloading the said app, thus i wasn't able to get the app and was billed accordingly. I wrote lingolook team an email and they give me instruction on what do. Every time i have questions, i just sent them an email and they reply pretty fast.

More phrases needed.. not enough to justify this price

if you want to get by in the country visited, it is a the apps to use. If you want extended keywords and phrase to learn the language this apps will get you started but not more as it is designed TO GET BY. Anyway an apps is not a solution for me to learn a language!

Not worth the money for me!

I will give this app only 3 stars. It has so much potential, but is very limited in the number of phrases. It does not justify the price.

I'd really like to see the pinyin larger! Many of us are learning to speak only (not reading characters) so the pinyin is very important, especially the tone markings. This is a nicely done app.

Would be even better if they had both male and female voices.

Just downloaded it to itunes and then to my iphone. The app works great except no sound. Connecting a headset did not work either. This would be a very useful app to have when I visit China if it had the sound too. Without sound it still is quite useful because for $5 I still get English words matching Chinese characters and a picture. I can read the pronunciations and hope for the best. I deleted it and downloaded it again, still no sound. I have the 8GB original iphone. I guess the sound must work only on the new iphone.
