I bought the app, and for $10 you get a searchable phrase book that can speak. While I can understand the arguments saying you can buy a phrase book for much cheaper, it is up to you to to determine if the ability to search and the ability to listen to the phrase is worth the extra $5 or so. In my case, I decided it was.

Boo hoo!!! To much? Hey, this app is great and is worth the price in a pinch. I jave the Chinese, japan, Spanish, german, and I plan on getting the rest. It's TIME PEOPLE STOP BIT€HING!!! ABOUT THE $$$. You have an iPhone for god sakes!!! You CAN afford 9 out of 10 apps on here!!! Quit being cheap and give it the rate it needs. And not what you think it should cost!!! F-ing cheapskates!!!!

I used to buy the lonely planet phrase books (hardcopies) and loved them so I was so disappointed when I bought this and realized that it didn't contain very many useful phrases. After I bought it I found some free applications that offer just the same amount of stuff. I kind of wish I hadn't wasted the money on it. I would definitely advise taking a look at the free applications first.

For your info, Where is the bathroom, is under the location of Emergency, Basic, "Where is the toilet". So give them an extra Star!!!! LOL. I'm deaf and my hearing friends tells me it is clear and helps me get what I need when I travel to Mexico....THANKS! Will use other languages if I ever go to other countries. As of mute...why not turn down the volume or use the vibrate only or doesn't it work. Anyways...great app. Wish more or can customize it.
