If you’re like us, you have many pair of ‘cheaters’, reading glasses. A pair near your bed, in your purse/briefcase, in the car. I always seem to misplace mine! Even with my glasses I couldn’t clearly read a label on a medicine bottle or the little numbers on a credit card. The zoom function on my camera so... Read Morert of worked, but switching apps was clumsy.

This is simple. Hold the phone sideways (landscape) over what you want to read. I mostly use 2x and 3x, but we put in 4 levels of enlargement. Like all the magnifying apps it’s a little unsteady (well, it’s me a little unsteady holding the phone), but useable. One big change the software guys did was intelligent cropping, IntelliCrop©, So even though the camera lens is in the corner of your phone, what you see looks centered.

We also improved on the other magnifying apps by adding ‘study’. Just touch the screen near the camera icon and it captures the image. Open the image and you can pinch, scroll and ‘study’ it. Look thru your phone and use the X feature to help focus. Ver.1 does not save to your photo album (great idea! thanks.. maybe in Ver 1.x)
