- More Track Variety - More Music - Online Multiplayer - Interface Proofreading Corrections (grammatical errors appear in some track descriptions) It's easy to see that this is a very polished game, so hats off to the developers. This game plays very well on my first Gen iPod touch, which is a pleasant surprise given that it has the most underclocked iPhone platform device out there. Money well spent - I truly got something worth paying for with Low Grav Racer, which is something I can't always say about some other games out there.

LGR is a good game and is similar to what other reviewers say about wipeout but the problem is I was never a huge fan of wipe out for the psp, and with this one I was hoping for more of a racer than a shooter, but that's exactly what it is, a shooter on... Well gravity pads or something, though the grphx are good, and cntrls as well, there is no true sense of speed, the races depend more on chance, and the weapons you find and when you use them in each race, than on precision or speed, like in fastlane for instance, if you are looking for something like a space shooter/ mario kart type game you may like it very much, but if your looking for something like vektraks with better graphics, or any type of racer with a true sense of speed you may want to look elsewhere, but if your like me and and enjoy a good game in and of itself then you won't be disapointed.

This game is certainly well made, with good graphics and a decent track variety. But it fails in the difficulty area. Even on the slowest difficulty setting this game was tough. I don't consider myself a casual gamer, and i had serious trouble playing this game. Unless you consider yourself great at racing games, this one is not for you. Save yourself the frustration!

Please update with a difficulty level, currently there is no hope whatsoever of coming in the top 3, let alone first. CPU players are quick to snatch up powerups intended for you and breeze past you like you're standing still. Cmon man, that's just bananas!

Knowing a wipeout game will never make it to the iphone I have been curious weather or not a developer would take up the challenge of making something in the genera. After playing their other great games I took a chance and downloaded and could not be happier. The game plays really really well and the AI is challenging but certainly not stupid which I like because it makes for a game to play more than one simple ride through and adds depth to it. It is one of the first games I have played on my iphone out of dozens purchased that I have started to see the real potential of the device. My only little gripes are I wish for a bit more creativity and variety in the level designs and I expected more out of the sound effects/foley work after the addicting theme in mouse about. I would just like a bit more polish in the sound design is all. Otherwise, great app!

Solid game and worth the money. Needs better track designs.

The concept is great and the graphics are very nice but the controls need a lot of work. The steering is way too sensitive, you have to choose between not turning and overcorrecting. There is also no speed control, that's a problem. Fix those issues and it's a five-star game.

Only a couple of suggestions: 1. Different skill levels, as already suggested by other users 2. More laps, 2 is just too little for a game that has slightly glitchy controls, which brings me to #: 3. Improved controls and stability, since crashing into walls seems inevitable for me. This will also make it easier to control the ship when you speed up. Other than that,very fun (I'd say betterthan Cro-Mag!)

I played this game for a couple of hours straight, and really found my self having a lot of fun - great feeling of speed, fun gameplay, competition is difficult but not impossible to beat, etc.

Why the bad reviews? It's like Super Monkey Ball, the control are sensitive but you get use to them in about 10 minutes of playing.

I would give it 5 stars if it had a tilt sensitivity option.

Very good game. A lot like f zero x. My only complaint is that the controls are way too sensitive so perhaps an accelerometer sensitivity option in the future. A difficulty option would be good too.

to me it reminds me more of the old F-Zero X for N64...call me an old gamergurl if you want but i still have my 64 and I'm loving this app ^_^ great job developers

I love racing games but this one wasn't that good, hard controls, lack of grav cars and hard to get in 1st place. But I still give it 3 stars.

No matter which car u choose it will always be slower than the others. Also the turns are waaaaaaay to sharp. It just slows you down even more. Another thing, why can't I use the boost!?

Ferrari is better. If they update it a bit with more content I'll happily give it five. As for now it's a good buy but I'm enjoying Ferrari more.

Very exciting game. Good graphics. A bit curvey but not hard to play, just try to control your turns around some of the steep curves by using some brake. Not a bad buy. My best racing game!!!

Solid game, challenging... Would be 5 stars with multiplayer and 1 slight control change: add tilting back/forward to cut deeper/less deep into the turns (lean back=sharper corner at expense of some speed/inertia). Also the ships are slightly frumpy looking... Really doesn't matter though!

Good game a lil pricey but good quality.

I bought this app about an hour ago and I haven't stopped since I fired it up. If you like racing games, this is unrivaled! This app is solid. The GUI is amazing and the flow of the game is remarkable....no stuttering or blips even during crashes into the wall. The developers get two thumbs way up and a big 5 star rating for this one.

I find it difficult to steer the aircraft because I've been playing other racing games which also use the accelerometer.

Finally a very polished "complete" game. I really like the soundtrack and the atmosphere. A couple of suggestions for the next update-possibly a track map overlay and at the very least a warning indicator of a competitor behind you. And as mentioned in the Toucharcade review, a 1st person view would be fantastic. Thanks for a great game.

This is a big departure from Mouse About. And kudos for trying something new. However, this one just isn't very fun. It looks good and sounds good, but controlling the ships isn't fun. There's just something cumbersome about the whole affair. And honestly I think this one would feel better with 2-d graphics. It's high time iPhone developers stopped this graphics thing in favor of fun. In my opinion the entire control scheme needs to be revamped. Take a look at SnailMail for some inspiration.

This game looks great, it is visually stunning on the iPhone. The variety of vehicles and tracks is amazing. Dont get fooled, though, the second you start you will be automatically in last place. The other racers seem to go at least twice as fast as your vehicle, no matter what vehicle you choose. The power ups have no originality and the computer racers get the fire power up and the boost power up, so you are further prevented from catching up with them. The only power up left for you is the drop mine, which is useless considering you are in last place. The tracks themselves look appealing to the eye and are stunning, but eventually after playing a while they all appear to be the same and feel like they are the same track. Overall, the game presents an old and traditional concept, but when executed in the form of Low Grav Racer, it just doesn't measure up to other racing games. Low Grav Racer's sales rely totally on the ignorant people that think the graphics look pretty. Don't waste your money on a poorly made game.
