MedsLog helps you remember which meds (medicine) to take, when to take them, and maintains a log of past consumptions. Set an alarm to remind you of any missed doses*.

Add items such as prescription drugs, eye-drops, creams, or ointments. Optionally add what times of the day you should take the meds. During the course of a day, after consuming a med or applying a cream or ointment, enter a new log. Each log also can record statistics such as blood pressure, blood sugar, asthma peak flow and your general condition. Email the data to yourself or your physican.

Key features include:
- Set an alarm to remind you of any missed doses*.
- Easily view when your next dose should be consumed.
- View a log of past consumptions.
- Email the data to yourself or you physician.
- Support for multiple users.
- Merge data with MedsLog for the Macintosh**
- And more.

* Due to the iPhone's limitations on 3rd party applications, MedsLog must be running in order for the MedsLog alarm to work, but the iPhone or iPod can be locked. However, alarms can be transferred to the iPhone or iPod calendar if MedsLog for Mac** is used, and then MedsLog does not need to be open for alarms to function.
** See <http://www.modesittsoftware.com/Products/MedsLog/mac/> for more info.

Best App & Customer Service!! 5.0 stars
By: benny_girl
Version: 1.7
I take several meds at different times of the day and was looking for an app exactly like this one. Works perfect for me esp with the updates. Great job! If you could add a password option when opening the app it would be perfect!! UPDATE 10/2/09: After using this app for awhile, I must thank the developers for not only providing an excellent app, but also for providing amazing customer service, which is above and beyond in my opinion. I always receive helpful, quick responses and have had my suggestions added to the app. Finally, developers who truly listen to the customers! And giving us the opportunity to test the new version is awesome! Thank you & keep up the good work!!
Best app of its kind 4.0 stars

This app made me really glad I had an iPhone. I've been needing something to help me keep track of my meds and this does just what I needed. And if I do forget a dose, I can check the logs and see records of exactly what I took and when. Rather than before, when I'd think I might have forgotten, but never knew for certain--now I can see exactly how frequently I miss doses. If I have a seizure (it makes me temporarily amnesic), with this app I can still tell the doctors what I take. For people like me who take 5+ medications, the dosages of which are always changing, and/or who are extremely forgetful, this app is a lifesaver. Some suggestions: Some apps now are able to send alerts to your phone while the app is not running--can MedsLog do that? The ability to set different times for different days (I take morning meds later on weekend mornings) would be nice. Also, I don't consider midnight to be the end of "a day," medication-wise. Sometimes I take nighttime meds after midnight, and it would be nice if those didn't show up in the following day's log. And for the future, maybe MedsLog could remind you when you need to refill your Rx. Thank you for creating this app, it's really been a pleasure to be able to use it.

I really find this app useful. The only thing I can see improving is a time based consume button so you if you take a med more than once a day and miss a dose, you don't record it more than the number of times you took it. Another thing would be the push noitfications do not notify me at the set times. Other than these minor issues it's very good.
Best Meds App, hands down 5.0 stars

I have tried almost all of the others and they fall short any way you add them up. It does everything I ask it to. I know some of you may ask why do you want an app to keep track of meds, well let me give 3 examples. A forgetful memory, multiple meds each day and oh yes children in the house. My wife tracks the kids meds using the app, and the mac desktop app combined.
A lot of effort 1.0 stars

Based on the reviews I thought this was going tone great. Not so much it turns out. A lot of effort to input where one screen could work. Honestly, not worth the effort. My pill box works as good.

I really like that there is a med taking app out there. I definitely needed something to track my meds. Two things that do bother me: 1. the reordering or meds does not work right with a large list and 2. there needs to be some better way of handling different dosages of meds for accurate tracking. For instance, I take 450mg of a med in the AM and 600mg of it in the PM. Keep up the good work and I'm sure we'll be seeing improvements.

Love this app. It's the only one I have tried that records the actual time you took the meds. This one is worth having. Thanks!

(4/01/09) Update: 1. I extend my sincere apology to this app creator(Bill) as I did NOT intentionally give this app a 1 star rating & changed it to the 4 it deserves. 2. Bill(MedsLog) immediately responded to my need for help, assures me my data is not lost, is dedicated to resolve the problem and is a pleasure to work with. (3/28/09)I have been using this app since Jan/2009 and have loved how easy it has been to use. B-U-U-U-T the update which looks to be a wonderful addition erased ALL!!!! my data when I attempted to add another name. Please H-E-L-L-P!! I NEED that data! Thanks (I hope) for helping me with this MAJOR!! problem! PilotMomma

After dowloading a few free med tracking aps, I bought medslog -- well worth $2.99. At first I had problems setting it up, but the developers responded immediately. Very helpful. The best features are the day/time stamp when giving meds and the ease of tracking multiple family members.

I have ALWAYS had trouble remembering when I took my last dose, or how long before my next, (with hundreds of milligrams of Morphine, it is extremely important to be accurate) Now with software on the device I carry daily, it couldn't be easier. It is well worth the price to have piece of mind. Thanks !!

I have tried a couple of these health tracking programs, by different companies. The email export is ingenious. But they need the option to email the data in CSV. It doesn't need to be in an attachment; being able to cut and paste it from an email is sufficient.
Full featured, very useful 5.0 stars

I like how it is customizable. I log each time I smoke a cigarette and each time I drink a cup of coffee as well. I had to add a category of "Blood sugar/pressure" to use independently of the auto log feature because I take my blood sugar measurement 2 hours after I take the medication for it. I also added "Pulse" to the log entries, since my BP meter records it.
