Great rhythm platforming game, easy to play, difficult to get perfect combos, buy it!

This is a great rhythm game, when Mevo runs passed an arrow you hit the corresponding arrow. He runs automatically. The first level is easy but then the combinations to hit get more complicated. It really isn't a platformer in that you don't control the running, only the rhythm buttons, but the platforming action is nice eye candy. The game has nice graphics, a great soundtrack, and fun gameplay for a steal of a price. I would pay more than 99 cents for this game, gladly, so pick it up if you like rhythm games or want to try something new!

Love music games and when i saw this thought I'd take a chance. Glad I did - the music is really different and funky like they say. Pretty good coming from a game company. The basic mechanics of tapping is the same as other music games but the genius twist is that it's got a mario platformer feel to it. You can easily get thru the game in easy mode but challenging in the med and hard mode - which by the way is how you get some hidden avatars and power ups. The art is fantastic. For only 99 cents, which i think is a steal - its a great game. Excited to see more of this beautiful game.

Make more games like this Red Rocket!

After having fun with Little Runner (created also by Red Rocket Games) I was curious to see how this one turned out. I had to purchase Mevo. This game is much more colorful, the music is extraordinary, hip and funky. I love playing it, and now I sometimes have a hard time figuring out which game to play first. I didn't expect so much in an iphone app... but this game is worth every cent!

I regret buying this. It's just way too boring. It needs to be at least 5 times as difficult and about ten times as long. The whole "platforming" thing is a joke- it's more annoying than entertaining. The music is terrible and far from catchy. Don't get me wrong; I normally love music games, but even tap-tap and World of Tunes do a better job. I bought this game due to the good reviews and am very disappointed. It's not worth anyone's time, and I'm really hoping for an update that completely overhauls the crap they have so far.

I loved the game on the PC, so I decided to give it a try. While it maintains a lot of features of the original, it's lacking serious content. I know it's only $0.99, but I feel that this is little more than a demo. Also, I have an iPod Touch 2G with 3.0 firmware, and the game lags a lot for me; from what I've read on review sites comments, it's not just 3.0's firmware. I've expressed this to their facebook and twitter pages and haven't gotten any response regarding this. I really would like to see more levels and fixed framerate, as currently, this music game that requires precise timing, lags too much for my tastes to the point where I miss beats that I clearly hit. Fix the problems, get a 5 star rating from me.

This game is fun but it's really short. There are only 3 levels in the game. You can go back and play them at a higher difficulty level but the game is still very easy even at the highest difficulty. The power ups are kind of useless. You don't really feel the need to use them. I hope the developers decide to add more levels to the game in the future updates Overall, it's not too bad of a deal for .99 cents. You always get what you pay for.

Great game idea for the platform. However the lack of feedback from button presses and the fact that you still hear the tones even if you miss makes difficult sections harder to track. If the game is moving slow the frame rate is nice and steady however around level 4 the game becomes nearly impossible due to frame dropping. Great music but not a looker of a game. If it stays around .99 cents until some updates come along to smooth it out it could be a highly recommendable game for the iPhone.

Awesome Music Platformer! Wife enjoyed it a lot! But the game is too short!

The game is about a band that has most of its members captured by a character who doesn't like their music. You play Mevo - a single eyed dancing character who will travel through stages in order to free his friends. The goal is to press either the left or right on-screen arrows as your Mevo avatar passes by the notes. It's very similar in concept to Tap Tap Revenge/Guitar Hero/Dance Dance Revolution/Rock Band, with the difference that each song is played on a 2D side-scrolling level.
