MicDroid is an app for your Android phone that recreates the robot singing voice effects that have been heard in songs by T-Pain, Ke$ha and Kanye. It's not quite at the caliber of quality as the I Am T-Pain app on the iPhone platform, but I'd still recommend keeping this one away from the tweens in your life if you don't like headaches. MicDroid still very much does the trick. MicDroid is a recording app that applies an auto-tune effect to whatever you say or sing into the phone on playback. Fun but needs minor keys. Don't use the defaults. Works but chipmunks on the default settings, setting the pitch shift to -1.0 helps. Also lacks it lacks minor keys, a good deal of pop artists are autotuned in C minor. Changing the key to Eb-major helps as it's C-minors relative major. With these settings you get pretty consistent tuning except for the problem with the occasional silent recording. Three stars 4 if it had minor keys.
