I got a "C" on my first MissSpell test, but now I'm getting "A-"s consistently. Love the UI; that font rocks. Addicting!

I LOVE this game!!! It's very challenging, but lot's of fun. I understand it's based on the top misspelled words on Dictionary.com and that makes sense because it really stretches your vocabulary. I think this one is well worth the $.99. Still can't get an A!

Like the game. Note that it is as much a test of your proofreading skills as your spelling. Some "words" are so wrong (although I'm sure that such misspellings occur) --so wrong that you are challenged to figure out what the word was supposed to be. Two requests, maybe three. 1) Because it does provide a proofreading challenge, the ability to change fonts would be very nice addition. My own experience is that a word in a different font or IN ALL CAPS can very much affect whether the word is perceived to be spelled correctly. 2) Occasionly the game throws out a word that I would like to see the definition of. A link to dictionary.com or to the app (if installed) would be nice. 3) I have encountered a given "misspelled" word that I thought, possibly, was the correct spelling of a different word than used in the test. A "challenge" feature maybe should be provided.

I was telling my friends at dinner last night about this game, and everyone wanted to play! We passed my iphone around the restaurant table as everyone wanted to beat each other's score. I am always saying that I'm a good speller, now I can prove it! I would say that the game is more appropriate for 10+ age, so one recommendation would be to make a kid's version. Neat graphics and design by the way.

This is the best game out there. Very addicting, awesome UI, lot of fun and a great game.

Been looking for a great casual word game like this for a while - very easy to pick up and play a quick game when you have a minute to kill ... Or play for an hour straight trying to master it! Love the challenge of getting an 'A'. Well worth a buck.

This is a wonderful idea for a quick-paced spelling game. But the words are written in a handwriting style font that is very distracting. you'll be looking carefully at a letter to fgure out if its an a or an e and losing time in the process. Otherwise a great little game.

I really don't like this game. The idea is good but the execution is really bad. It is hard to tell if you chose the right answer and it does not allow you to try and correct the misspelled word. Misses the mark by a mile for me. I don't see the educational value in this game. Don't waste your money. Wait until they make MAJOR improvements to the game.

Good game. I agree with wanting a different font but it is not a significant issue. I would like the name to not have to be entered each time - the app should remember the most recent name used.

There should definitely be different difficulties because ( yeah I sound stupid ) I can't understand most of the words and it's just a waste of money if you're not a spelling freak

Fun, but when you give me the word "cocasion" I assume it is the misspelled form of "Caucasian". Not "occasion". Also you have "surveyee" as the misspelling of "surveyed" and "dicuss" as "discuss" along with many others that are not only misspelled but not even remotely phonetically similar. They look like completely different words. Please fix these. Also a link for definitions would be nice.

I admit, I am NOT a good speller and could not remember whether I chose incorrect or correct for some of the words. I wholeheartedly believe that the game would be simpler if the font were in lower case letters and a book type font were used. Also, it took me a little while to realize that in "Test Review" a word that [was] spelled correctly would remain in black with a frown if I chose "incorrect" and a star if I chose "correct." But if a word was spelled [incorrectly], and I chose "correct" for my answer, the correct spelling was then printed in green below the incorrect spelling. IS THIS CONFUSING, OR WHAT? DID I EVEN SAY THAT CORRECTLY? The "Test Review" should be less complicated. Also, the designer/s should/could have explaned all this in the rules! Thank God this game did not cost more than $ 0.99 -- I would have felt exceedingly cheated otherwise!

It is an okay app, but sometimes the words are too complicated, and it's not as fun as it could be.

First: it crashes *every* time I complete the contest. *Every* time. Running iPhone 3GS.

The buttons to choose correct and incorrect are switched! I kept failing the test because of backwards buttons

Would be great if it worked all the time. Does not always score correctly. Can say you answered wrong when you actually made the correct choice.

I've played this on the dictionary.com site and really enjoyed it-- but I'm absolutely over the moon about having it on my iPhone. This game is SO MUCH FUN and ubelievably-- it's FREE! What a clever idea and clean well designed game. It's challenging and educational yes-- but also thankfully a blast to play!!! You MUST try this game. It's addicting in the best way. Koodos to Dictionary.com!!!

This game is not any good. The correct and incorrect buttons don't work! If u say it's correct half of the time it does the opposite!

I agree that this game is addicting! I think it would be so much better if there is an option to view the vocabulary from dictionary.com by clicking the word. You could learn both the spelling & vocabulary all in one application! It would be that much more educational! :)

It exits after I complete the game, so it's not like I can see my grade or anything (-2 stars). It has a lot of words I've never heard of. I think this game should stick to commonly misspelled words (-1 star). But the format is nice, and gameplay is fairly simple (+1 star). That comes out to 3 stars. And I have to admit, this game is kind of addictive. I want to delete it and download it again, but I don't want to lose my high scores...whatever, maybe I will. It needs an update to fix its problems.

This game is horrible who wants to spell I fell like I'm in school who wants to be. Ps. I only put five so I could be at the top.
