I was hesitant to buy a paid app with no reviews but I made the gamble and it really paid off. Setup was easy (the directions are right here on the page) and I was good to go in less than a minute. I'll be honest the interface is ugly and has an unnecessarily large amount of buttons but it is quite zippy from screen to screen and the functionality was all that I really cared about in the first place which is TOP NOTCH. I highly recommend this application for anyone that uses their computer hooked up to a television or just likes to sit back away from the computer while watching a movie or TV show.

When in the 'Browse' tab list of folders and files are not sorted by any discernable means which makes it incredibly hard to find anything when you have more than a handful of files.

I decided to give this app a try and it was a waste of my money after following all the step down to the "T", when ever I try to connect to my computer I get a screen that pops up on my ipod touch that says it cannot connect to specified hostname, I tried this on multiple computers with the same results. this is a problem with the app and if you are going to charge for this you need to make sure it works!

Great App. Connection/Setup was as easy as possible. Definitely a 5 star app if not some minor issues such as: 1. Buttons design is not to my liking. Would be nice to have skins selection or just change buttons to more real remote-like look. 2. Would be great to manually select which buttons you need to use and add new ones such as PanScan modes (Zoom to widescreen), audio language/track selection during playback etc.

It works great, the other reviewer doesn't know how to setup ports and probably using the wrong ip. Anyway I love it, it does everything I want and more. Here are some suggestions: move the app options into the iPhone settings menu. Get better looking icons and fine tune the remote, maybe have a customizable layout or split it into groups by function, but I do like all buttons on one page, maybe the ability to hide certain ones. Update the app icon and use the mpc Icon instead. Also when seeking to a part of a video, mpc stutters/repeats for about 2 seconds kind of kind of like a broken record. Hope there is an update soon and hope there will be customization options. Thanks for this, now I can lay on my bed and watch videos on my tv and control mpc without touching the pc.
