MuniApp gives you access to San Francisco’s MUNI transit system on the go with real-time predictions for buses, metro and cable cars.
FEATURES
- Locate nearby stops and their respective bus routes, with quick access to Google map.
Find yourself in an unfamiliar part in San Francisco , and not sure what are the MUNI lines around you? Using the "Nearby" page, get the list of nearby stops and bus lines based on your current location. The natively integrated Google Map will help you find your way to the stop. And if this is not enough to arrive to the destination stop, just launch Google Map right within MuniApp for turn-by-turn directions.
- Quick navigation to access Next MUNI prediction information.
- Select a route, and MuniApp will display the current prediction for the nearest stop based on your location.
- Need more information on a stop? Select it, and MuniApp will display all the other routes that goes through this stop, with their current prediction times.
- Improved Bookmark page.
- Bookmark your mostly used stops with just one click.
- View prediction times on the same page.
- Sort the bookmarks by location, date added or alphabetically.

Simple to use, especially if you know the MUNI system. I have a dozen routes/stops that I use regularly. This lets me know if I need to walk or run to catch my bus.

This ap is a great for figuring out when you need to be at stop to minimize wait time. Simple and easy to use. It doesn't tell you how to get somewhere. Useful for those who already know muni's routes.

Worst app I've ever purchased. Doesn't tell you anything but a list of stops. Doesn't help with subway. Doesn't tell you How to get anywhere.

I was hoping this could help me get from where I am in the city to some destination, but it doesn't tell you where nearby routs go, just the name of the bus and arrival time.

well thought out layout. you get the info you need with very few clicks. nearby feature sorts by nearest stops first. this app is well worth the $2 since I can take diff bus stops to get home or work. this allows me to figure out which stop is shortest wait easily now!

For two years I've been struggling to use Nextbus on my iPhone and most often the bus comes before it even loads. Muni App solves it all -- I've got all my stops bookmarked and ready and everything is loaded instantly. You can look up new stops quickly and easily Plus you can use the GPS feature to figure out what stops are nearby Well worth the $1.99!
