I loved this app and still do. It was great fun to play and I thought it was a very original and creative idea one a whole. The one thing that kinda bugs me is that I got to level 20 and maxxed out the points, and I have enough money for the final upgrade on one of my businesses from 4 1/2 to 5 stars but it says I can't upgrade it for some reason. If anyone knows the problem let me know.

First off, i have to say this game is very interesting. Its one of the few apps that actually uses the location system very well. I like all the powere ups you can get and the cute little avatar. My only problem now is that i've now hit the max of 20, will there be more levels or am I stuck at this cap. Also, maybe you could add new power ups that youd could obtain or buy, or new costumes and just other little items. Overall, a fun real-estate type game that is a must buy, especially now that its free.

Okay.. I downloaded it and then spent the next four hours flippin poking on the checkin button at locations nearby until I dominated everyone else on the leaderboard for those places like a mighty tyrant, and collected about 6 different properties. It's really suprisingly fun. Hint, wait till your point multiplier powerups level up by watching the checkin button on the bottom.. usually about a minute or two until it kind of maxes out. Disappointed that there's no market system for the properties though, they all seem to be the same once you buy them, and you can't use money to buy more checkin powerups, just to buy or upgrade your properties. Also the avatar doesn't seem to do much ("yet"?) Still cool that you can buy and upgrade to make more money though.

at first, it was a bit overwhelming. but after playing with it for a few minutes, it's a cool idea. it's pretty much real-world monopoly where i can collect rent buy places around me.

Wow! Next-Gen Check-In Game

I've tried a couple of pretty cool Check-In apps like Foursquare and Gowalla, but MyTown is HOT! You can Check-In to buy real-world shops and even collect/sell rent... The Power-Ups are pretty slick too. It's kind of like if Foursquare and Monopoly had a baby, and had a RPG raise said baby.
