For our next installment of the App Store Roundtable, we asked developers what they liked and/or disliked about the iTunes review system. It should be noted that the review system for the App Store has seen a few updates since these comments were made, but concerns voiced by these developers are still valid. For me there’s a few things I’ve seen in my small amount of time in the store. One being the inability to respond to negative ratings. I’ve got some that say “Doesn’t work” or “its garbage” but nobody sent a support request. The real interest in this app was not so much the fact that you can doodle on a napkin---the appeal was really the fact that you can take a photo and trace over it's components, thereby rendering your own "artistic" (though not original) creation. I am not a painter or illustrator by any means which makes this application perfect for my artistically-challenged self. It presents the opportunity to create via "tracing" and I have ideas I like to have visually laid out before me (ex: storyboarding) and this app has all the potential to 'hit that perfect mark' if not for the lack of ZOOMING CAPABILITY! For all of the detail-oriented non-illustrators (though that could be a small niche!) please consider giving this app the added push it needs---ZOOM! A definite solid 5 stars if zoom is added! Thanks!
