The NASA TV app is not the same thing as the NASA app. They do share one common feature, and that is NASA TV is a component of each, but that's where the similiarity ends, and that's why having both apps gives the fullest coverage of NASA news. This app (NASA TV) also has on demand videos, the NASA TV schedule, and a schedule of NASA on other TV networks (for an example, Modern Marvels on the History Channel on 5/7/2011 has a story about the VAB doors). The NASA app has a fully detailed list of past and present missions, including launch schedule, sighting opportunities, and information on all current satellites, Chandra, Hubble, etc. It also has images, videos, tweets, plus 3 options for viewing NASA TV. I recognize and appreciate the unique qualities the NASA TV app and the NASA app have, and I consider them to be complementary. I usually don't write reviews, but when I saw that 2 of the 3 reviews before me were unfairly critical, I knew I needed to write. I know my review is fair and accurate, and more importantly, I hope it's been helpful to the potential user, and to the developer.

How stupid is this? I can already watch NASA TV and videos on the other NASA app.

This app is an excellent news source for NASA's Space Program operational information. The app is attractive and attention-getting with very interesting "quality" content. The range of experience from exploring this app is far-reaching. The app is expecially appealing with a wide-range of space travel related topics.
