Paying for creative commons content?
mamk 3.0 stars Version: 1.0
When you buy this applicaiton you are indirectly paying to access Wikipedia content. It can be argued that acrossair is by default charging access to Wikipedia user generated content. There are other AR application for free which do not charge for accessing creative commons content like Wikipedia.
AR is the next ribeye
Granddaddy of AR 3.0 stars Version: 1.0
Hmmm... I wonder if 333nick and C2H5OH (short for the kind of alcohol that gets u drunk) are 'tarded and trying to use it on a 3G???? Also wonder if nsa8rd is one of the developers. His review seems transparent. In any case, this a cool idea and well executed. It's a WAYYYYYY better party trick than some of the first iPhone apps (lighter, iPint). But AR has a LOT more to offer us. Save your money for the good stuff. (And, instead of a blank white screen for 3G users, they could have been more clever.)
WOW!

All I get is a White screen.
Two bucks to constantly crash
AR hopeful 1.0 stars Version: 1.0
Two bucks is kind of steep to constantly crash. Not worth it. Good concept but poor execution.
Absolutely sick
nsa8rd 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
Amazing, best/coolest $2 I have spent in the app store. The interface is slick and responsive. The app works best when out doors due to the limitation of the iphone 3gs gps inside buildings. You will use this a a lot, both to impress friends and navigate around your city.
