Acrossair - I hope you are reading this. this technology has unlimited potential. However, you must incorporate both compass and accelerometer calibration in all your apps.

I've been following this app for a few months, waiting for its release and it does not disappoint. I took a 30 minute train ride into Manhattan just to walk around and test it for a few hours. Everything reports just as it's supposed to. This is Augmented Reality done right.

Worth the money even if it's just for the novelty. It's a really neat app that shows just the beginning of what you can do with augmented reality tech. It's a very simple app with really zero configuration options. I feel like it could benefit from being able to select which subway lines you need specifically instead of just showing all of them at once. The only real complaint I have is that I doesn't update your distances to each station in real time, it gets them one time upon the initial app launch and doesn't change when you move further towards/away from a station unless you close the app and reopen it.

I've been waiting for this app for a few months now, since seeing a demo online. It's finally here, and I'm not disappointed. Using this app as a starting point, the future of Augmented Reality on the iPhone is bright! (And even after living in Manhattan for 8 years, I hadn't realized there was an B/D station up the street until I tried this out!)

Wow, Like others I saw the demo of this app and couldn't wait for it to arrive. It was worth the wait! It does exactley what it says it does, and it does it well. Some things I'd like to see in upcoming versions: construction info, train arrival time and delays. I know much of this is depandent on the MTA, but it would make this app incredible.

This app does exactly what is advertised and does it good. It loads quickly and has always been pretty accurate. I wish that it had some more features like...

I expected iTrans to be the best app to lead me to a subway from the very confusing downtown Manhattan. All it did was show me a list of the closest subways, then when I selected one, it opened a silly HopStop styled set of instructions. This did me NO good considering I was lost!! I opened this app with low expectations, but it brought up the train I needed, and most of all, it linked to Google maps. Duh, really iTrans. Learn something.
