Could be more responsive and can't really move without random slashes. Some may enjoy it more than me. I'm just looking forward to the movie.

At first I admit I didn't even want to look at a movie based game. Then I saw no fake on screen joystick, cool stlyized animation and something made me buy the app and I am so glad I did. Amazing intuitive, responsive, flowing controls. Precision strikes and yes...decapitations. Not just mindless hack and slash, keeping track and a 'head' count ;-) I would give this an even higher score but the difficultly seems to explode at certian points, just balancing issues any and all games are sure to have and I'd wager will be expanded on soon. Maybe more avatars and online multiplayer swordfights await. Awesome game, could hardly stop playing long enough to write this review but had to give credit where credit is due for this wonderful app!!! Buy it and you will not be disappointed!!!

The movie is sick. Game graphics aren't the best, but after watching the movie you'll want this game. Very fun

I've seen that its hard to excecute a responsive action game on the ipod, but Ninja Assassin has done a decent job. It takes a while to get used to the controls, and some of the attacks are difficult. Throwing ninja stars, for example, is something I rarely have time to do. The levels are also complex and excedingly difficult. When you get the rythem, they do become possible tasks. All in all, it is an enjoyable game, especially with the Survival Mode to make up for the short Story Mode. A tad expensive for a game like this, but I do not regret my purchase.
