Works great for syncing notes between iPhone and ToodleDo. I am a physician and have been using a Palm for 8 years and have built up alot of Palm notes over the years. I made the plunge to an iPhone in July and have been trying to find replacements for Palm Memos and for HanDBase. I was able to use Notebook and ToodleDo to copy and paste all of my old Palm Memos in a couple of hours and am quite pleased with the programs. Now if I can only find a database program that I can actually get to sync!

Only access to your notes outside of the iPhone is via a Web site. No sync or edit via the desktop is available.

I love this app! It adds a key feature to iPhone that has been missing since the original release: The ability to add long text notes to iPhone from my regular computer, manage them and sync them. Just like the built in "Notes" app, you can email notes to people, but when you combine this app with the free service at Toodledo.com, you can also back up your notes and access them with a full size keyboard!

This is is certainly one of the best available. I really like the ability to write notes on the Toodledo site and sync to the app. What is missing and would make it THE Best note app is add a landscape typing pad. Please add landscape typing choice in the next update.

Appigo has developed it's second great iPhone application. Notebook syncs with Toodledo perfectly and is well integrated with their other fine application, Todo. Writing notes, or to do's, on your iPhone and syncing them to the cloud is great. Being able to manage and edit them from any PC is awesome. Get these two applications.

This is one of the most indispensable applications on my iPhone. It syncs flawlessly with my ToodleDo account, and works in perfect harmony with Appigo's ToDo app. It is a great replacement for Apple's Notes application which I find almost useless because it does not have any sync features to my Mac. With Notebook's sync with ToodleDo, it is almost as good as having a desktop application that syncs with your iPhone. If they could come up with a real desktop app that syncs notes with your iPhone, they'd get my full 5 stars! In addition, Appigo's customer/tech support is almost unbelievable - they respond immediately to questions and recommendations, almost as if you are their only customer! These guys are real pros. You absolutely can't go wrong. use it with ToDo and you have a fantastic set of apps!

I have only used it for a few minutes since I just installed it, but Notebook integrates so well with Todo--now I can have synchronized contexts; and brainstorm and then import to Todo when and if I'm ready to make it a task or project--that I can tell it's already taken my productivity on the iPhone to a whole new level. As a 1.0 release, it's stable, powerful and is a welcome substitute for the factory Notes app!! Wishlist: Customizable font and text foreground and background colors for notes. I'd like to have the ability to take a photo and insert in a note. Optional title for a note instead of the first para. The two best productivity apps, both from the same company. They produce Apple-quality apps well worth the money and my experience with the customer service and support has been first rate. I recommend Appigo apps to all my friends with iPhones.

I'll grant you, it's still not perfect. But, I was able to export the database from my old iPhone Notes application (via tools and procedures found on the web) to a SQLite db, convert that to CSV, clean up the file with TextMate, and then upload to Toodledo. Therefore, I was finally able to migrate my old notes from the default application to my new iPhone.

This Notebook is missing two major options that I would love to see in the near future: 1) I would like to be able to write my notes vertically or horizontally, with this version I can only write vertically. 2) I cannot sync with my notes/memos with outlook, and I do not care or want to sync my private notes over the internet, I would like to keep them private on my desktop at home/business. If the above features are going to be available for us in future updates, I would give this application a five stars... A password option would also be great!

I first started with the Todo and liked that; but Notebook makes all my info the way I want and I can sync so easy. I am dumping all the "other" apps I tried and paid for. This is what I need.

Great notes app. An excellent companion to Appigo's Todo task manager, and I like how it syncs wirelessly with Toodledo's web-based todo list and notes. Downloaded and installed easily. Works and syncs well for me. Recommended.

Great app. Worth the $. I wish that the Todo app supported contexts so my folder list doesn't have folders mixed with contexts. After that both this and Todo will get 5 stars.

With so much gimmicky junk lurking about in the App Store, let me just say that this developer knows how to write real software. I actually bought this based solely on how well their other App, Todo has served me. And my blind faith was rewarded in every way. Notebook does what it says it will do flawlessly.

I'm an old Palm user... and had identified 115 Palm "memos" (in six categories) that I wanted to move to my iPhone. Apple's "Notes" app was shockingly inadequate, so I tried a number of others. This one seemed to have the right stuff.

I was skeptical at first with the lack of a desktop application but Toodledo was a pleasant surprise. It took a fewhours but it was pretty simple to convert years of palm memos to Notebook. It would be nice to have password option, but I guess if I was really concerned I could use the Iphone password function to lock my entire Iphone..

This is a hard problem to explain, but it's very real.

I'm an ex-palm user and couldn't believe that Apple would sell a product without a way to sync notes or tasks. Appigo to the rescue! First with Todo and now with notebook I easily took my old palm notes and copy/pasted them into Toodledo so they are now accessible on my desktop via web browser and on my iphone. This is a must have for anyone that uses notes on the iphone.

Great app, but please let me drag/reorder the notebooks any way I want. I have certain categories I'd like near the top, but I'm stuck with alphabetical. I don't need "All" and "Unfiled" at the very top. In fact I'd like to hide them if possible, or move them to the bottom.

Good notebook app, great integration with Toodledo.com's web service and Appigo's To Do app (available here on iTunes). Easy access on the desktop from Safari or any web browser on any platform. Money well spent.

If only the included iPhone note program was this useful. Intuitive, simple, and totally worth the price.

Finally notes app that I am happy with. All I wanted from notes is being able to dial phone numbers directly from the notes app and this does that. Ps. Time stamps are also nice and usefull for my job. This app is also faster then builtin notes app and notes can be easily deleted by sliding a finger. Both port. and lands. typing is suppored here as well.

This app is perfect! Imported my PalmOS Memos/categories into Toodledo.com and synced with Notebook. Now, I don't miss my Palm-based phone at all. Great work developers!!

This Notebook has a wealth of features not found in the bare-bones Apple Notes app. Unfortunately, there is still no way to sync with notes in Mail. For this reason alone I have been forced to return to Apple notes. Syncing to a service that does not integrate with my desktop environment and requires internet access to read and edit notes (on the computer) just isn't good enough. Appigo's excellent todo app, which I still use, has been able to sync with iCal for months now, so when will we see similar functionality for Notebook?
