Finally, finally, FINALLY I've found a notes app that lets me put images INSIDE the note where I want them! This one can do everything the regular notes app can do, only with MUCH nicer looking notes and better organized with categories. I do wish it would let me sync my notes to the desktop, but other than that its just about perfect.

I like this app. It's a better way to take notes with more options on categorization. I've already started using it with my Christmas lists! I like the little notebook background on the notes and the ability to take/attach pictures is nice. I like the drop-shadow that's added when you add a picture to a note. I like the email functionality a lot.

With the old iphone notes app I barely used it because there was no way to stay organized. I love the categories and headers and I find it really easy to use. I only wish I had it 3 months ago when I was looking for a new apartment! Being able to take notes and pictures of each one would have saved me so much trouble. I have my xmas shopping list password protected from prying eyes...I'd love if there could be bullet points to insert into each note so I could be even more anal retentive - any chance of that guys?? Looking forward to the next version.

This really is a great app for creative note writing or if you just want visuals in your notes for reference.

I love this app! I have been looking for a replacement for the Apple "Notes" app, and this might just be it! The uncluttered look and intuitive interface is great. I do have a few suggestions on my "wish list," though:

1. Obviously, the developers listen to their clients! 2. Works as advertised! 3. To make training notes - set up SMTP server (easy to do; follow their directions) and you can take pics and send them through email with explanatory text if needed. Can be used to graphically walk someone through an entire complicated process. Just great! This is everything I need! Apps like these make the iPhone even more valuable! Great idea; good implementation; definitely fills a need! Good work; thanks!

Love this app! Fourth one I've tried like this and this is the keeper! I love the look of it, passwords are great! Love the bold headings! Please make phone numbers and addresses hot links so one click will dial the number, etc. That would be so useful for me. Please consider. Great product. Very happy.

This is a nicely done application to keep track of notes. I especially appreciate the ability to categorize notes so they can be kept together with other related ones. If you have lots of notes, this is a much better solution than the built-in application. You can back up notes by e-mailing them to yourself, but that is not an optimum solution for me. The application would be improved a lot for me if there were a desktop companion or a server solution so that I could be sure of backup. I also would welcome the ability to access and compose notes on the desktop and transfer them to the iPhone. I've read that such a solution is in the works, so I'll watch and revise my rating if it is a good solution.

To be fair - this app does all it says it will do. Pictures are easy to insert; entering words and lines are easy to insert either on top of the photo or below. Those are the positives. The negatives are as follows: 1) It is confusing - possibly only at first - where I currently am at with it. It might get easier to operate. 2) I was under the impression any notes we currently had in our Iphone note section - would apprear here. They do not though they never said they would. This then means we have to retype any of our prior notes (letter by letter which takes hours if you have a lot like I do) to get them into this app. 3) Once you apply the privacy code to any note - you can't click on any part of that note without the window popping up to ask for the code. Again: maybe this will be different once I know the operation better. 4) once in the new category window where you enter the title and password (if used) there is no back arrow or any other link telling you how to get out of that window - though this is common on many apps. They leave us hanging. All in all - once learned I think it's going to be well worth the money.

Nice app for creative writing! Yay! Emailing a note with pictures does not attach the pictures to the email. So pics stuck on phone. Boo. no landscape big keyboard mode. Boo. Categories! Yay! Entire note is sent as subject AND body of emails... What's the title for dude? Boo. Wish there was a screenwriting mode. Anyway, good app for a notes replacement... Almost.

I spent a great deal of time reviewing the pros/cons of other note-based applications before settling on NoteMaster. The application’s design is clean, easy-to-use and conveniently converts from portrait to landscape mode. Among my favorite features are the ability to create categories for notes, include section headers and images within a note and secure private categories with a password (and yeah, having the landscape mode is pretty cool, too!).

I think this app does exactly as stated. Would be a nice idea to have the picture inserted in the email....maybe by choice and to add bullets for each line. Overall, very good app!

Notemaster adds a lot of great features which the default apple app lacked. This has since became my default app for notes.

This app works great. It has categories, landscape mode, headlines, and pictures within the text. Being able to insert pics into a note is a unique capability. Customer support is first-rate.

This app is fantastic! I'm not sure what the last reviewer is talking about because I've had zero issues. It has a clean, professional interface, categories, headers, and photos in notes. Plus the customer service is amazing - they responded to my issue immediately. All in all - it's totally replaced the built in iPhone app and the updates have all been great.

It crashes when I take a picture so completely I have to reset it from iTunes.

This is the only note app I tried that didn't disappoint. I NEED to create notes with images, and NoteMaster makes it effortless to add them. The interface is very well done, like the developers really put a lot of thought into the design. It has become the only note app I use.

I agree with previous reviews, for once an app that does what exactly what it says!! Fits my very specific needs! Great for collectors, a quick and easy way to reference what is in your collection! A collector of vintage records, no longer will I spend money at a garage sale/antique mall just to get home and find I already had that album!

How refreshing to find an app that does exactly what it claims, and does it well! Thank you for delivering as promised, I use NoteMaster almost every day. Please consider adding the ability to backup my notes on my computer.

Perfect sync.

This is be far the best note app that I've found. Finally there is a way to backup and retrieve my notes via Google Docs and edit them on my laptop and sync my notes back to my iPhone. Great technical support as well. I emailed a question and received a response within hours. The only thing on my "wish list" would be to have a way to change the category of notes after they were produced and a way to permanently delete headings within a note. Even still this is by far the best replacement for the native notes app on the iPhone if you want a quick, clean, and simple way to sync and access notes. Excellent app!

All the 3.0 Note Apps (beginning even with the native Notes app)... Will be supporting hyperlink data detection in the fields.. A MUST for many of my notes. Really hoping for this soon!!

Would be five stars if it supported the following: - landscape support - zoom in/out by pinch - be able to add a note directly from category screen (along with being able to add a category). Should be 2 icons here so you can add either one directly from cat screen. - attach/correspond notes to contacts so you can use as a CRM tool (this would probably be a big modification... but would be very cool). Keep up the good work... Look forward to future updates. 

I've purchased several apps that are supposed to "sync" with google Docs. they don't. this is the only one that does (albeit with a single folder). excellent app, nice interface. some minor interface quirks, but really good overall!

Was looking for a good GoogleDoc synced notes app. This one does the job well.

It syncs perfectly with Google Docs and is probably the best iPhone notes program so far, but the iPhone standard Notes program, which now syncs with Outlook is still preferable, in my opinion. NoteMaster's advantage is its ability to insert pictures. But the iphone's powerful new Search feature doesn't search NoteMaster. I think that, if NoteMaster could sync multiple Google Docs folders and folders within folders, it'd be enough to justify switching to it. Why are we still waiting for a good syncable Notes program?

A couple of things that could boost this app to greatness... 1. Automatically convert phone numbers to clickable links that let me call the number. Appigo Notebook does this. 2. Use the first line of the note as the title if a title is not entered. Most times the first line makes a perfect title. Why make me type the same thing for a title? It's very annoying and useless to see a list of "untitled" notes. 3. It would be great if copying a photo from Safari or elsewhere and pasting it into a note resulted in the actual photo showing up instead of just an URL. Maybe it's an Apple limitation. 4. Thumbnails for notes with photos is a no brainer! 5. Many other note apps let you create a quick note an file it later. This is very useful. Maybe I missed it, but it seems like I always have to pick a category (and a title) first. Very slow. Otherwise a nice lean clean app.

Pretty good app, but now it won't sinc with google docs anymore. I'm trying to figure out if I did something different or if it was the latest update that caused it.

Simply does what no other app can do: photos and text, all together in a single note. Perfect for Real Estate hunting where you want to remember what a place looked like: keeping your notes together with your pics. Any kind of comparative shopping would benefit from this. Looks good, has nice headers.

Synced the first few times but no longer for some reason (tried all the obvious fixes, e.g. restart etc). Crashes when it gets to the "notes" part of the sync.

Positives ... Great sync feature with google docs Nice GUI. Needs ... Ability to increase size of text. Currently very small. Ability to change font. Could benefit from ... Some colored themes along the lines of AwesomeNote and RainbowNote.

The first few syncs worked great but now it always crashes halfway through.

This app is my most used app. I write a lot of love letters to my girlfriend. She loves it because I can make my letters "event specific" by including a photo. It becomes poetry. My only concern is spell check, it would be a nice addition. Plus everyone considering this app should understand there is a five min setup "4me, anyway" to sink with gmail to send photos. I guess that is the purpose of the ability to sink with google docs. Now that I think about it. Guess I gotta start using G. Docs.

First Sync OK... Now it crashes. With this corrected I will be up one more star... With a few more fast user friendly on the go note features it will be a 5 star... Love the idea and features... Looking good! I hope we get it soon!

I like this app for one reason that I can paste image into a note. BUT I am disappointed to figure out that phone call cant be initiated by tapping a phone number written on note. In every other notes App you can call the number. Please add this feature that one thing can make it perfect.
