I'm not kidding you when I tell you I get my Tweet @replies in 1 second!

I bought Gpush and Boxcar when they came out, and they were awesome... but NOTIFICATIONS blows them out of the water. Here's why:

This app is a one-stop shop for all your important notifications. You no longer need a separate app to be notified for Gmail, Twitter, or RSS feeds. It's generic so you can setup any type of notification. It's also super fast and very reliable.

I had been using BoxCar but was sick of the late and straight up missed notifications. This app pushes lighting fast!! Must have for hardcore Twitter fans.. Is also a fantastic tool for testing your devices push.

This apps solves a few problems for me and gives me real-time notifications for blogs updates and tweets. A must have and is worth the cost.

BOOM! and this app deserves it! I have been testing out the reliablity and functions of this app and can truly tell you to go buy this app before it catches on and they double or triple the price! And they can get that for it cause it really does all that it says and they are adding stuff all the time just follow @appnotification on Twitter and you will get all his post on the updates and new ideas they are having every day, while you are there follow @iphoneapp4that and see the great things he has said about the app. And the posted time differences from this app compared to the integrated push in other apps!! You will be amazed at either how fast this app pushes content to your phone, or how slow all the other services have been! This app has moved to my home page and that is a feat in itself as I only put the best apps on my home page. And these last few days I have even been considering moving it to the dock. You may say so what but if you knew me you would understand just how big that is!!

The developer was very fast answering my questions. Money well spent. Now I have my email notifications from gmail through push!

Can't believe they do Twitter notifications so stupid, complex settings. Boxcar is the best.

Easy to setup; want Twitter notifications: add a few keywords, want Gmail or any other email notification: forward a copy to a special email address, want something custom: write a few lines of PHP, ruby, or use curl. Talk about fast, most notifications come in less than 5 seconds. This app has a great foundation with lots of room to grow. Well worth the $.

It is indeed fast! and it solves the problem of push notifications on Gmail, Facebook, and Twitter. Can't beat the price.

Extremely helpful & expedient. My only complaint is not being able to use the Mail app on the iPhone instead of the Gmail webapp. Very fast twitter push.

Misleading. I picked this app up for the Facebook support they advertised...not gMail. But here's their explanation on how they supposedly interact with Facebook: "If you use a GMail address for your Facebook account, and have configured our application to receive push for GMail messages, your notifications coming from Facebook will automatically be starting the Facebook iPhone application instead of GMail."

This app doesn't do what it says. Didn't work at all. The app has a built in latency checker that LIES and says you'll get your pushes in seconds. NOT TRUE!!! APP AWFUL!!!!! I'm pissed and want a REFUND!!!

UPDATE: You can now open Google Voice when you get SMS messages to your Google Voice # by forwarding those emails to your notifications address. Amazing! And you can use any email service that allows you to forward a message, you don't have to use gmail to get Facebook or Google Voice notifications. I love that there is an API and the ability to get RSS notifications. The way Twitter is done is a bit hoaky though. I am sticking with Boxcar for Twitter notifications. I plan to work on some custom stuff with their API, well worth the 2.00.

This is how Notification is supposed to be. Maybe Apple will take a hint and do this with iPhone OS 3.2. Anyway, this is awesome.

Got for gmail push and as an added bonus helps push google voice SMS so I don't have to waste $ on SMS

This program just doesn't seem to work the way it is supposed to. Sometimes I get the notification, sometimes I don't. More often than not I don't get it. If I turn the alerts function off, I will sometimes get the badge notification number, but it won't let me see the actual notification (it says I have none). If I send myself a notification through the app it will arrive within the 5 seconds it says it will...after that (and only once in a while) a list of all my missing notifications appears...and doesn't match up at all to the number that it said was waiting to be read. For me the app only works occasionally, making it completely useless for what you would want to use it for. Don't waste your 2 bucks...not on version 1.0.

Fast notifications for all of my RSS!

For those who are tired of not being able to receive email notifications, this is a good place to start. Please keep in mind for GMAIL, this is NOT TRUE PUSH. Yes you can get notified, but GMAIL cannot be pushed as of yet on the iPhone. So you're just forwarding a copy of your incoming message to GMAIL to the custom email address provided by NOTIFCATIONS, which means you'll receive that notification ONLY when your iPhone checks mail ie. every 15min, 30min ect. For the price, there is no comparison. MAJOR Plus is ZERO subscription fee beyond the initial app price. 4/5 stars.

This really is a fantastic app and makes my iPhone perfect. I can finally get rid of my blackberrry! It let's you know as soon as an email comes through..plus other things but I just wanted the email alerts. I did run into a problem on sunday and emailed the developer and he got back to me within an hour. The problem was resolved quickly after a couple emails. That is darn good service...and on a football Sunday!! Get this app...you will love it!

-You cannot adjust any settings from your phone other than enable and disable.

This is a great way to handle multiple types of notifications(rss, twitter, email, and more) and I love how you can still access them once they are cleared of the screen. The settings can be modified from your web browser either via desktop or via your iPhone web browser.

I have been on dates that didn't last as long as it took me to get this setup, and still I'm not getting alerts from the 2nd gmail account. Did they actually have real live normal people try this before releasing?
