Put “Buy NotifyMe” on your lame paper to-do list for this weekend because it has been marked down by 50 percent, but only for two days. NotifyMe features a simple and straightforward interface that allows you to quickly set up and display reminders, and you can also have them pushed to you.  On startup you are able to have the app display a new reminder, the main screen, or upcoming reminders.  When you create a new reminder, you can choose from seven categories, including personal, work, school, birthdays, to-dos, TV shows, and shopping.  NotifyMe also features a few different viewing options, various repeating modes, and global time zone changes for those frequent travelers out there. NotifyMe with push is now on sale in the App Store for $1.99, but only for two days.  It will return to its regular price of $3.99 on Monday, August 17th.  If you are currently using Read More

According to Dominik Balogh, the developer of a push-enabled "to do" list application for iPhone called NotifyMe, the Push Notification technology provided by Apple does not appear to be working on any "unlocked" iPhones. Unlocked phones are those that have been modified to work on unsupported carriers. For example, in the U.S., this would mean phones that were hacked to work on T-Mobile's network instead of on AT&T. This is different than "jailbroken" phones, which are phones modified to allow the installation of unapproved third-party applications. At first, you might dismiss this problem since it only affects a small subset of users, but Balogh brings up an important question: "what should the developers do?" People who have purchased his application are now angry that it doesn't work, yet there's nothing he can do to help them. A few weeks ago, Apple released their updated mobile OS, the iPhone OS 3.0, which Read More
Apple Blocking Push Notifications on Unlocked iPhones?
Calendar16 Mon, 13 Jul 2009 18:51:59 UTC +00:00
In a blog post over the weekend and a press release issued today, Czech iPhone developer PoweryBase notes that Apple appears to be blocking Push Notifications on iPhones that have been unlocked for use on non-official wireless carriers. PoweryBase is the developer behind [App Store Links: Paid ($3.99), Free], a popular application that utilizes push notifications to offer reminders and to-do alerts to users on the go. According to PoweryBase, push-enabled iPhone applications contact Apple's servers to request a unique ID to establish a link for Push Notifications, but Apple's servers fail to respond to such requests when coming from unlocked iPhones. "When the Push based application such as NotifyMe requests an ID from APNS, the server responds within a second and identifies the device with the unique token. From that point, the connection between APNS and user's device is successfully established," said Pavel Serbajlo, PoweryBase's lead developer. "However, on a Read More
Téléchargez NotifyMe Version Lite Read More

Good but...

Would be nice if badge notifications were activated becuase if I get a notification and then get a text, when I unlock my phone it only shows my text, there's no trace of my reminder anywhere
As close to perfect as a 1.0 can get
sparkrainfire 4.0 stars Version: 1.0
This app is a joy to use, it's well designed, and most importantly it's fast! However, it does have a few minor issues that are in no way dealbreakers. I'd like to see custom categories, non-intrusive updates (sans pop up), and badge support(I'm told this is coming in 1.1 so it's a moot point). I also really like how the developer is handleing the "lite" version. I like that it's fully functional, perfect for "trying before buying"
Highly recommended
App--Addict 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
Very well made application. Add badges support for near perfection, give it a hug and leave it be! I can't wait for the paid version to push its way into the App Store. Also I received a very speedy response from their tech support, thats always a plus in my book.
Love it
Bts1225 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
Works great. I have been wanting an app like this ever I got the phone. I would like to see it work in landscape also, hopefully that will come. Other than that I love it and will be using it all the time. When the paid app comes out I will be buying it.
Nothing New...
spauni 1.0 stars Version: 1.0
I like how you can catagorize your todo list. Other than that, I just don't see the difference in using this and using the calender you already have on your phone to set reminders. Setting a reminder on your calender does the same exact thing. Now it would make a big difference to me if the reminder would pop up every 10-15 mins or so until I execute that particular task that I have set a reminder for. And once it's done I can go into the app and check it off as complete for that particular day, so it would stop reminding me for that day. The issue I have with the reminder on the calender and Notifyme is that the reminder pops up once and it will never give any other reminders. I can forget that I got a reminder that one time and never get that particular task done.
Good start
Floridalistener 3.0 stars Version: 1.0
I agree completely with the review written by Spauni. This app is currently not practical for my everyday use as it does not have the capability to keep notifying me every few minutes until I acknowledge receipt of the reminder. I frequently walk away from my office and do not always remember to check my phone when I return. With only one notification I will likely miss many reminders. I really hope the developer incorporates this capability. If so, I truly believe this will be an amazing app.
Works Great

…so far. Just tried one push notification, but it worked perfectly.
Great App! Works exactly ad described.
The_Ben 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
Great app which I've been looking for for a long time. The app works as described. At the moment only the free version is available, I can't wait for the full version of NotifyMe to come out.
Try it. Then grab the full version!
matthiggins 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
UPDATE: The full version just became available — and it's a good thing, because this app is definitely one of those apps that you'll try and wanna buy. ORIGINAL: Push ToDo's, TV Show alerts, and pretty much any other reminder imaginable. It's really easy to add new tasks, too — just open the app and the new task screen pops up! It's been a long time coming, but it's well worth the wait.
Does not work
Allerley 1.0 stars Version: 1.0
I've set this application numerous times and it just does not work.I've reintalled, I've checked service availability and iPhone setting but it just refuses to notify me!!!! Don't waste your money till you try the free app and see if you are unlucky like me. I've just read that to developer is blaming jailbroken iPhones for bad reviews. Well I can confirm my iPhone is fresh out the box and not tampered with in anyway
Pretty Good
Freestyle73 4.0 stars Version: 1.0
Does what is says. Set a reminder and Time. Then you are sent a Push notification at the time you specify. Nice!
Works great!
Itouch fan3 4.0 stars Version: 1.0
Tempted to buy full version since no other todo app has gotten push notification right. Only thing is this app is kinda bare bones compared to most todo apps. I'm sure they'll update but I'm just too impatient. Then again, how long am I gonna have to wait for toodledo or todo to get it right?!?! Yikes!!!
Good start
Maintarget 3.0 stars Version: 1.0
I'm with spauni. If they can do periodic push reminders until things get completed, this would be perfect for me. Oh and a web GUI or firefox plugin where I can add tasks from my computer. Good start, but I need something that is more persistent on reminding me
Mocha nut 1.0 stars Version: 1.0
After using the free version I find that this does the same thing as the "stock calander does. Not worth the money. Should allow minute incriments I stead of 5min incriments. This app does allow you to put things into more detailed categories. So most of of the features of this app are redundant so there is no need to get the lite or te paid version until they send better updates
Some issues
Willyhoit 3.0 stars Version: 1.0
I didn't get my notification when I was on the phone. I set two reminders at the same time only pushed one. Still deciding if I should buy
Needs better alarm settings
SurfSkillz 3.0 stars Version: 1.1
The default iphone calendar is the same thing and you can customize the alarm sounds. This app is a simple task list. Needs more settings; esp. for repeating, like 'every 3 hours' 'repeat every hour', add own alarms, tag alarm sounds, needs daily alarm clock since waking up is part of my daily tasks - at least an alarm with snooze, locked screen allow to view before startup without using slider to login, minute increments, calendaring option. Basically need the default clock, calendar and task apps in one, nothing fancy. Great UI though. It's just 'too' simple.

Nicops123 1.0 stars Version: 1.1
This app is good  but you can do the same thing with clock app 
same thing as the calendar app
Jyuujin 1.0 stars Version: 1.1
there is no reason to use this app, it's the same thing as the built in calendar app only with pretty graphics.
Update
LSUfanintigahland 5.0 stars Version: 1.1
I installed the new update. It says it now supports badge numbers on the icon. Well, it doesn't. Please fix ----------------------- Update: Ok, I was wrong. The numbers appear after the event passes. My bad. It would also be nice if we could add a photo to the upcoming event.
Useful App
DotCom2 3.0 stars Version: 1.1
I like this app even though you can still get the same results using the iPhone built in Calendar and/or timer App. This is just a more dignified way of doing it and since it's free it's a good deal even with the nap screen. I would get the paid version but at $3.99 that's just too much for an app that like I said, is redundant. Even if the nag screen were longer I would still stick with the free over the high price of the paid version. Good app though. I wish it had more custom alert times and repeats such as repeating the alert several times on the same day kinda like an alarm clock snooze feature. I knocked off two stars, one for the overpriced full version and one for the lack of repeating alerts.
Nice but pricey
melodyinf 3.0 stars Version: 1.1
Simple and organized. I like it but the full version kinda pricey because we actually have calendar on iPhone. If it's 99c only I would buy it. And the lite version allows 3 reminders only. Over all great concept, just need to be more generous!

Photos would be great

Would be great if we could upload a photo to go with the event
Should have option to import
nottygurl 3.0 stars Version: 1.1
I wanted to test this app out before I buy, It looks like it's good. My only issue with it is not having the option to import from Facebook. I have a itouch and this other Birthday Reminder allowed me to import all my friend's birthday. So think about that before you buy.
Will get 5
kiwi1108 3.0 stars Version: 1.1
I will buy the paid version and give this 5 stars when you ad a custom snooze to this application. Please! :)
Needs a few more features
halwaterman 3.0 stars Version: 1.1
For example, custom reminders would be great. For example, I have a meeting the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month, so it would be great if I could customize a recurring meeting to "repeat the 2nd Monday of each month", as "repeat every two weeks" doesn't work because sometimes there are five Mondays in a month. Great idea though, this has potential to become a very useful app.
Great!
They call you Carmelo 5.0 stars Version: 1.3
Awesome! Just what I was looking for! Only free one on the App Store
Simple Reminder App
DMBFANATL 4.0 stars Version: 1.4.2
I was looking for a push reminder other than my outlook calendar and this works great, simple and easy!
Finally!!
5owls 4.0 stars Version: 1.4.1
I've been looking for an app to notify me when I have to do certain tasks, without cluttering up my iCal or ToDo list. I tried a few different apps, but none of the push notifications worked at all. This one is perfect!! I upgraded to the full version because it was on sale, but the free one is great too. I wish the developers would add an option to repeat tasks on weekdays or weekends, maybe that is coming in the next update.
why do I have to create a user account to organize my phone?
Bobolli 1.0 stars Version: 1.4.2
I don't like handing out my personal info when it isn't necessary. I would rather pay for an application. You don't need me to log in so I can set up reminders. I can do that on my phone without the extra five steps. Bah.
