Unfortunately, all three of these otherwise impressive games get knocked down a little from what would otherwise be higher ratings because of their needless separation into iPad and iPhone/iPod touch releases, which is complicated further by two developers’ decision to offer separate full and trial versions. I buy alot of action type games for iPad (non-puzzle only) and this is definitely one of the best I've purchased thus far. I'm not familiar with it on other platforms but on iPad 'classic' the graphics and controls are silky smooth and very nice. I've only played through the first level thus far but liked it so much i figured i'd say so while i was thinking about it. Closest thing yet to a console/handheld console feel for me on the iPad (no doubt due to it being a port but this seems like a really good one). Highly recommended for fans of action/adventure games.

Just really empty

I don't understand why iOS games are so shallow. There is minimal story and interactivity in this game. Its just a platformer that uses comic book style story telling. Its boring. Squaresoft had better stuff in the early 90's. Squaresoft had less to work with too. I'm really disappointed with all iOS games, this one just adds to the mediocrity.

What a wonderful game! I was hesitant at first and grabbed the lite version. I could tell after only a couple minutes playing--I wanted to buy it immediately. Beautiful flowing graphics, sweet music and easy controls, and the game play was a ton of fun. A definite win and a must-have for any gamer's collection!!! $2.99 is a great price, hopefully it doesn't get too much more expensive than that. WELL WORTH the price it's at!!
