Okay, that's an exaggeration, but there are tons of apps that help put everyone's favorite online source of data in your pocket. “On this day…” is an application that allows you to discover interesting facts about events that happened on the date you have selected. You can view events as recent as the late nineties, or as far back as the years before Christ. The facts are plentiful, but the features are just not there. Upon opening the application you will be presented with the current date and a list of historical events. The events are grouped into three areas: general events, births and deaths.
