For those who have been waiting for the opportunity to take panoramic pictures on your phone, the wait is over. Pano for Android is made by the same folks who developed the hit iOS app, and like the iOS app, it works really well. Using Pano is simple: take your picture, line up the edge along the left of the picture, and continue snapping away until you're done taking your panoramic shot. When you're done, you click the check button and your images are merged. Simple. Painless. It's awesome. Settings are pretty nonexistent in Pano. If you press menu, your only option is to enable or disable geotagging. On the main interface, you can only merge your pictures, take another, or rotate the orientation. Failed to work on my Acer Stream I'd take several pics and merge them and it would just paste one pic on top of the other and in no way attempt to merge the two images into one. Very poor result. Thankfully I just made it to the 15min refund time limit.

Very good, but seems like not using full screen The panoramas look really good and the app is easy to use. On HTC Sensation the area of live picture is just a rectangle in upper left corner, smaller than available area, not using full screen - maybe because of Sensation's qHD screen resolution? Hope it can be improved in next release. Also it would be nice if the final image could have a higher resolution than just around 750px (height of a horizontal panorama).

Works better than expected. The app itself works amazing, well above what I expected. Things that bug me...no options! Sure you may not need options for the camera itself, but an app without any kind of options menu seems...weird. I would like to see some resolution settings if possible, or change directory where pics are saved. Either way the app is completely worth getting if you think you'll ever want to takes panoramic pics.

Easy to use but pictures turn out grainy It works quite well, I like it. The resolution is high enough to look at pics on your PC screen, they are barely resized. However when zooming in, the whole picture is very grainy and seems to have small stripes all over. I have tried the app and later looked at the photos in photoshop in various conditions. The grain is always there. A bit disappointing but then again this app only is used when sending pics via phone anyways. If I want high quality panorama pics I use a good camera and auto stitch or CS5.

The one app I was missing from my iPhone Thank you Pano for finally coming to Android! Ever since I made the jump to Android a year and a half ago I've been looking for a good panoramic photo taking app but there wasn't any available. Thankfully Pano is definitely it. The processing of the photos is great and I love the ghosted previous image that helps you line up the shot to help out the processing. All in all great app!

I did find that even with the display brightness turned up on even overcast days it is quite difficult to align up the frame for the next shot. Overall though and excellent app.

Low memory usage during the images merging which is great for my HTC Legend. Thumbs up for this app and looking forward more options like a notification when the image is fit before shooting the new one. Does a really great job considering it's only a phone, and especially since it's so cheap. My only gripe is that it changes the exposure between shots (if the lighting changes) which can be very frustrating. Needs exposure lock.
