Description
This app may also be tax deductible for working EMTs and paramedics (as well as a percentage of your mobile device if you use it for work).
Paramedic Protocol Provider is a utility application that can be used by field paramedics and EMTs to quickly and efficiently look up their respective field treatment protocols.
Paramedic Protocol Provider is not a guide for emergency med
... Read Moreicine or first aid. It is strictly a reference utility designed specifically and exclusively for field EMS personnel.
When you have to refer to your protocols, the last thing you want is to have to run around looking for your book. With Paramedic Protocol Provider you can have your protocols at your fingertips and not have to flip through pages to find what you need.
Note: All feedback is taken seriously. If you wish to receive a response to your concerns, please send e-mail through the in-app mail feature or the website.
Features include:
*Hierarchical lookup of protocols broken down into logical sections (for example, adult or pediatric protocols). This allows for quick and convenient look-up without having to flick through hundreds of pages, at precisely the moments when you can't afford to waste time
*Direct links to important information. For example, whenever available and appropriate, protocols have direct links to the pharmacology/drug references for quick access. This is only available for protocols that provide a pharmacology reference/summary
*The ability to keep more up-to-date protocols than some printed forms (a best effort is made to keep the most current and accurate information, but no guarantee is possible)
*Convenient calling features for base station contact, hospital ring-downs and other resource information (not available for all protocols)
*Online updates and additions of new protocols (for free!)
Currently available protocols include:
*Maine statewide protocols (requires OS 3.0 or later)
*Alabama, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York (BLS), North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Tennessee statewide protocols
*NY regional ALS protocols, including New York City
*Many California protocols including most SF Bay Area counties
*Fort Worth, TX
*Snohomish county, WA
*Clark county, NV
*Bernalillo county NM
... and many more soon to come.
