So glade a tool that I have used for over many years is now on the iPhone. I now can offically retire my Palm VI because pCAM (palm cam) is here and 10 times better. Great job David!

This is by far one of the best tools for anyone working with professional film and video cameras. It is packed full of features and is a lot more accurate than some other software based depth of field calculators that are available. I am especially impressed that this, one of my most commonly used and powerful applications, is also one of my most stable applications, having not experienced any crashes or lags while using it.

I used pcam years ago on my palm pilot- loved it then and love it now, very well done! I especially like how info for eachh tool is integrated into every page. Great job David! looking forward to seeing how the app evolves over time.

The main reason I bought an itouch. This program is a lifesaver. The price is not a problem. It does everything it says and more. The field of view feature alone has already saved me time and money the first day. The wait was worth it.

Originally I thought this was overpriced, since there are other apps that are are cheaper that do similar calculations. But after downloading it I now see this the THE best app for DP's and Ac's. I loved the pcam/pcine combo on the palm, really glad it is now available on the iphone. Thanks David!

I have been waiting for this for months. Simply put, this is the finest piece of software ever written for the cinematographer. This is good enough that it should generate sales for the iPhone/iPod Touch

I just used this program for a very complicated commercial I just worked on full of different filters, variable shutter angles and changing frame rates. The DP gave me the base stop and I would normally have to find an equivalent exposure in my head but I used the Exposure tool and it saved me a headache. Thanks a bunch David now the DP no longer waits till after Coffee to throw these computations to me...thanks a lot :-)

I used it on my Treo, and I'm about 5 hours in on the iPhone version. Amazing app! Everyone in the camera department in the film and video world should run out and buy this app before you next job. $40 may seen steep, but I promise you that you won't regret.

This is exactly the program I have been - not being a Palm Pilot user - longing for my whole career. Simple, clear, elegant and above all always in my pocket, ready when I need it.

David has done a terrific job. Some might think the price is too high, but we should realize the work that goes into this product for such a specific market. I still had to keep my Palm for the sole purpose of this program. The new IPhone/ITouch version is a step above the Palm version. PCam is a very easy, useful and complete tool. Thank you for the hard work.

This program was one of my basic, used-every-shoot tools. I have been nursing my dying palm just so I could continue to use it. Now, finally, on the iPhone! Bye bye treo...

Has a lot of the new formats, great visual previews, even helps telling me how big my sets have to be with a specific lens at a certain distance.

Originally a Palm app, I've been hanging on to my Palm just so I can keep using the original version of this program. Finally, it's available for iPhone. Love it. It's the most comprehensive app for cinematography available. Great not having to use four different programs. A million thanks for making it available for the iPhone David.

1.: I have been usesing pcam/pcine on my palm for years. It is the best program for any person in the camera department ever!!! The pcam for the iphone in the metric system is not useable!!! It only gives you one decimal place and even worse it also adjusts upwards and downwards. So in the worst case scenario one could be of by 180mm in DoF which is more than 7 inches!!!

This app Is the perfect all purpose calculator for ACing. And it costs less than valc wheels too. Thanks for this well built tool.

This app replaces the charts, wheels, and math problems that DP's, Operators and Assistants deal with every day. It was great on Palm and looks even better on the iPhone.

Perfect app for Cinematographers who compose off set and on the go. A few needed additions: Stopwatch, the ability to add DoF adapters (Cinemek, Letus, Brevis, etc...) in the DoF and exposure sections, MIRED shift calculator. Overall one of the few apps that is worth every penny. Thank you.

For anyone in the motion picture camera business, this has been the "missing link" of the iphone. It is finally here and we are all grateful. Thank you, David, for making the effort to create this very useful app for us. Well worth the $$$

Love it. Great not having to use four different programs. A million thanks for making it available for the iPhone David. I do however miss not having "footcandles" as an option in the Exposure section - it was a great help to me when making notes for my gaffer. I hope we'll see it return in a future version.

When you need solutions fast, and especially when you've been at work for 14 hours, the cost of this program is very fair. Highly recommended.
