Just got it and it does what is says. I like it!

I felt cheated after buying this: despite being launched nearly two months after the iPhone 3G S, this application doesn't support the new, higher resolutions made possible with the new hardware.

I'd rate this higher but this program only outputs to a max of 1600. update this for the 3gs.

I have ArtCamera and tends to like it and that is why I bought this app. But I really do not know why I need this. I used many tools in the App but do not see any difference or any improvement on my photo. I prefer ColorSplash or Vihgo which can really give me some awesome.

Really a nice update in terms of features and how they were implemented for noise removal and sharpening (split screen preview before applying). Working with the full size 3GS images is great, too. Larger buttons on the tool page is okay, although they may not need to be that big (maybe fit them to one screen without scrolling-- like two columns?). For basic photo editing on the iPhone, this set of tools really does the job. So overall a decent set of features for a bargain price. The only thing I'm not excited with is the yellow ring around the icon- ouch! Not very Apple/iPhone-esque and should updated appropriately.

this app crashes consistantly rendering it unusable.

Perfect Photo has all the features & processes that my previous photo apps have, which are now gone. PP is like having all those apps in one! And the cropping is a huuuuuuGe plus. Used PP right after download and it didn't crash once, even while applying effects continuously. Very stable.

Very pleased with overall capabilities. Minus one star for slow initial load time.

Love this App. Easy to use and many options that work very well. Makes me want to take/create many photos of many subjects.

I normally don't write reviews, but I am an artist in need of a fast fix for my poorly lit pictures of sketches. I am able to quickly edit and bring life to my drawings on the go! This app has it all, now I don't have to upload photos to my computer to edit them to be presented to my clients for preview. This app is fast and easy to use. I highly recommend it!

Does what it says and really brightens up the pics when needed. Great app to have to touch up a photo and then post it or send it.

I've enjoyed PerfectPhoto; I'll try anything to salvage iPhone photos taken under anything less than perfect lighting. A few features will really prove useability: 1. Rework the Levels dialog. That huge Auto button makes getting to the tiny highlights slider maddening and the sliders are very hard to engage. 2. Move midtone adjustment from the Gamma control and add it to the Levels control where it is in desktop editing apps. 3. Allow level-at-a-time undo and redo with separate buttons for each direction. Undo now means restore to original state, but the need (Ok - want... If you NEED to edit for anything more serious than iPhone display you do it in a desktop app) the ability to toggle at least the last adjusent on and off to see how it worked. Multiple levels are a nice-to-have capability, but not as important as just a single level. 4. Display the file name of the image being edited. 5.. Replace Sharpen with USM. The impementation of Sharpen quickly throws whire dots (big noise) into the image. 6. Denoise just seems to undo Sharpen. I realize that the two are naturally counter to each other, but Denoise isn't usefull in the current implementation. It seems more like Blur. Showing the file dimensions, by the way, is brilliant That's enough for now. I see a lot of promise in PerfectPhoto - or I wouldn't have crampped my hand writing this tome on the phone... Thanks for your work!

I love the editing capability and the photo picture resolution capturing the 3GS max 1536 x 2048. The denoise is the best. Lots of punch for 99 cents, better than higher priced apps.

every now and then the app crashes when i am tinkering with my pics. I've had it for 2 weeks and i love it. picture quality is fantastic. I would recommend it to anybody.

Does what it says it does. The adjustments are great, and the interface is slick. I only wish you could adjust the sliders 1 setting at a time by tapping the + and - on either end. That would make small adjustments easier. Also, double tapping to reset zoom doesn't seem to be working. Other than that, this is exactly what I wanted in a general editor.

Great to change and improve the photos

This application is great for the quick fix. Very powerfull for a phone application. Did what I needed when I needed and have used it just for fun.

I'm generally quite happy with Perfect Photo, and I don't regret purchasing it. The interface is clean and easy to figure out. One thing that I couldn't figure out from the reviews is whether the Perfect Photo could crop to a specific aspect ratio. I am pleased to report it does. There are a few improvements that I would like to see in the next version of Perfect Photo: 1) At least one level of undo/redo! Sometimes you're not sure whether you like an effect until it's done on the full image, or you want to compare an effect with the original image. 2) I'm shocked that there does not seem to be a resize tool. Sometimes I want to make a lower resolution version of an image. 3) The preview of an effect is performed on a lower resolution version of the image for to make it seem speedier. The resolution of the preview is too low, making the image much softer, and making it more difficult to get a sense of how the effect will look. 4) The vignette/frame part of the vintage effect looks quite unnatural and bad. I will be glad to change this review to a 5  review if these are fixed Future enhancement suggestions: - A 2:3 crop ratio (iPhone's vertical display aspect ratio) would be great. It's a bit of a hassle to rotate the clip mask, then rotate the image back - A tone curve adjustment would be great! All in all, a really good app. Update: The 1.4.0 release seems to have greatly improved the speed of many of the operations of Perfect Photo. The developers are listening! 

I like this picture processing app. Love the features include the upload facility, its pretty zippy even on my 3G. The pencil and vintage effects turn out some cool looking pictures. However it has crashed on me a couple times (when saving a processed photo back to the photo album and when selecting to email the photo) hence minus a star. It has replaced my previous photo processing app, and is very well worth the current 99c.

I've purchased almost ALL of photographic apps & this is by far the BEST CONTINUALLY I've seen so far! You have the ability to choose how much of each mode you care to change, as it's not all preset choices, and therefore, you are responsible for each dramatic creation! BUY THIS, if you have not already, you will love the results you get. fotofran 

This app has worked well for me

PerfectPhoto is like a tiny little Photoshop, scaled down for the iPhone. My phone takes adequate shots in low-light, but PerfectPhoto has an EXPOSURE adjustment that I use constantly to make my low-light pics pop. Easy to use, and well worth the cost.

Very simple app to use for quick edits on the go!

Has great options and works fabulous for facebooking or sharing. I'm really pleased with it.

This is the nest photo apps I have ever seen. I use Photoshop on my computer extensively by now I do not have to wait. This is especially essential given the poor quality iPhone 3G s camera and lack of flash Highly recommended!

When I need to crop a pic this app comes in handy. Easy to use.

It wasn't as good as I thought:(. Some of the edits ruin the picture, and it takes forever to save! It does have some good stuff, but I don't think it's worth 99 cents. Don't waste you money. Some people say it's photoshop in their pocket, it's not. If you choose to get it, though, just look at the bright side. SOME of the effects look good, most don't.

These reviews definitely don't fit the program and the "denosier" does not work. Barely any filters either.

When I try to make certain corrections (like changing the contrast) the app makes the picture blur. Not good to lose clarity and sharpness like that.

This app is a pain to use don't wast your money

The pictures that I corrected with this app acquired an artifact in the picture. Kinda like a the picture was divided into squares, then processed slightly differently on either side of the squares so that the picture on either side doesn't match up. Other then this defect, I liked the effects and filters. Just this bug must be fixed before I can use it.

It's an OK photo enhancing App. Controls are a little sluggish and I do not like waiting for each enhancement to save. Levels does not have a midlevel adjustment. I wouldn't recommend this App to anyone who enjoys photography.

Only software I've used for editing photos on my iPhone. this app works great, especially for lightening up my darker photos.

The features that are offered in Perfect Photo were well thought out and perfectly created. This app. carries a lot of features, that most photo editing apps. fall short of. Perfect Photo is by far one of the best editing apps. that iTunes offers. ** I have noticed that a lot of people are experiencing crashes with their apps. shortly after being downloaded. Try turning your phone off after each download has completed. *** Hope this tip helps someone...

This app does everything I wad needing done. It was the only one I found that did :)

I use it about 1/3 of the time. Especially good is the shadow/highlight tool

Very good features just like the 100 dollar program on my PC. Works great with all types of pictures from dark exposure to blurry pictures. It does it all very well.
