I think that it is an original and very interesting twist on the match three games. In Plank, the marbles drop and they land on a hydraulic powered plank and you must roll the marbles using the accelerometer to tilt the iphone left and right, to match the marbles as they fall. Don't worry, your marbles won't fall off the ends! If you match 3 vertically, it destroys the whole column. If you match 3 across, they will just destroy those 3. Now if you match 3 in a diagonal, it blows up all the columns that have a marble in that diagonal match! Bombs will fall from the screen every once and awhile and you quickly touch them before they hit the other marbles to blow up the bottom row of your plank's marbles! Also if the gauge on the right goes nuts and steam flies out, then shake your iphone to destroy the bottom row! This will bring the gauge back down. The game is polished and well designed, and I recommend this fun game to people who like the match 3 kind of games like Trism, Bejewled, Jewel Quest 2 and all the rest of them.

Beautiful graphics and great gameplay. Sounds are excellent. Love the magnetic marbles. The shakes come in handy, but is there a way to earn more? Also, what are the random spheres that drop from time to time? I highly recommended this game.

Heard about this game and was interested in the design and (hopefully) new game direction.

This is one of the best looking puzzle games out there. Add to that the fact that it's practically the only one that actually uses the accelerometer, and this is a must have. I'm addicted!!!

I would give this 5 stars if not for the bugginess of it. The graphics and the concept are so much better than what I've seen from other entires in this genre that I couldn't give it just 3 stars. But the bugs really need to be worked out. You need to reboot your iPhone after first installing this game. However, I find I need to reboot the phone just about every time I want to play the game. I also had one occurrence where the game started but wasn't reading the accelerometer - and therefore the plank wouldn't move. Exiting the game and trying a different accelerometer controlled application showed the accelerometer was working. Restarting the game (without a reboot) had it responding to the accelerometer fine again. So, I think the game has WONDERFUL potential - it's just in need of a little stability control.

By far, this is the best of this genre. I really enjoy the depth of the game play. Sure it's matching three or more, but it's so much more fun and complex. You have to consider tactics in terms of how you're setting up your matches - Diagonal, vertical or horizontal. Regardless of position, every marble underneath gets destroyed. Coupled with the tilting and power-ups, or downs, it makes for a superb game. I'm not a five star kind of guy, but Plank made me erase several other games of this type from my iPhone, because this one fills the "match-three" void. Thanks Freeverse and Strange Flavour. I'm looking forward to what's next.

It is a great game, however you have to reboot quite often and sometimes the accelerometer doesn't work but a reboot usually clears it up. Hopefully they will update soon and the bugs will be lessened!

Wow freeverse the best love it

I have tried this game on my phone and my wife's and can't get passed the tittle screen. Sad because it looks like a fun game plus the glowing reviews. Well I guess it's only a loss of two bucks. I hope the developer fixed this bug.

love the game, but it either quits, or frezes the phone way too often. when working is a very fun and chalenging game. in the errors are corrected i'd change to 5 stars.

The only saving grace for this game is the rich graphics. Otherwise I found it to be slow and boring.

One of the most graphically beautiful games, BUT, gameplay is soooo slow that you could fall asleep before the game gets interesting. All flash, little substance.

I have to admit that this game has a really cool and good looking graphics. Control is good and sound is nice. However, it crashed every time I run it until my iPhone is rebooted but it crashed again next time I run it. I'm sure the developer will fix that in the next update. I wish the first 5 minutes of the game wasn't that slow to play or it can let player to choose what level to start from. This is a must buy original puzzle game made for iPhone and we need more iPhone Only (TM) games!!! :-)

FLAT OUT FUN. Addictive, worth every penny and it has pretty graphics!

As expected, Strange Flavour brings some original games to the table. I look forward to seeing what they create in the future.
