I downloaded this app this evening and have played it solidly for several hours - already have gone though the free content and am a level 12 mage type toon. This app is FANTASTIC! Here is what makes this game amazing: 1. The graphics are great much better than pretty much any rpg that I have seen thus far for the iphone and there are no MMO rpgs that are even close. This is a big deal for me. I like eye candy games. The graphics have a WOW type feel, kind of cartooney but definitely pleasant to look at. 2. Very easy to pick up and play. Now I will admit I have played my share of rpg and mmorpgs but I think even a person new to the rpgs would have no issues with playing this game. 3. The controls are very good. While there is a little bit of break in time where you have to get used to the controls I think that could be said for any game. 4. Very little lag. Now so far, because the game is brand new and the iphone version is not out yet, there has been almost no lag. Hopefully as people find this game and the servers become more crowded the game will continue to play solidly.

I got to play this in beta on the iPhone, and I'm blown away by how awesome it is on the iPad. Graphics are great, there's enough space for touch-to-move to work more smoothly, and no problems with the edges of the touchscreen being less sensitive. It's playable (with a bit of learning curve) on the iPhone, but really stellar on the iPad. I like that instances are straightforward; it's an MMO, but one that doesn't need more than 10 minutes or so to play through a dungeon. Settling down with the iPad I played for an hour yesterday (and was still at 80% battery!), but you can also advance your character with a quick game on the phone while waiting in line at the post office.

Great game so far. I'm only a lv 12 but I can already see the potential of this game. A must buy for any MMORPG fan. The interface is very user friendly and the option to control your character with a virtual analog or with "click to go" is great. Only 3 character classes and only one model for each class is a little weak but it gets the job done and as you progress in the game and acquire more armor you begin to look a little more individual. If your a fan of dioblos, wow, ffxi or any mmorpg, install this game now!!

I got this game a few hours ago and have been enjoying it ever since. I'm currently only level 8 but this app is showing some solid potential.

Aboslutely one of the most fun, easiest to play games available! Lots of content to play through and most definitely worth the price for the full APP!!!

I like pretty much everything about this game - the controls look/feel are all great, and it's 100% cooperative play, which I enjoy. The little campaigns are fun to play through, and there are a number of mini dungeons that are better for quick games. (Stones 'n Bones being my favorite.) There's plenty of game here for free, and while there are consumables you can pay cash for, most of the DLC is new dungeons, which you can play through to your hearts content. (Another nice thing IMHO is that while you can buy uber powerful stuff with cash, but you can't actually use it until your character has the level/stats to handle it.)

I was blown away when I downloaded this app. Forget being a free app, this game is amazing period! It's like a mini version of wow, and I love it. They did a great job on this one:)

Interface is pretty intuitive and responsive though sometimes I end up moving when I'm trying to target a mob. Chatting works okay though player base still seems a bit small and only ran across a few sociable players. (Update: I've been running across more social players. ) Graphics and animations are a cute. Built in chat censor was a bit strict. For example it censored sentences with the words "button", or "got it". One thing that seemed funny, was watch new players first log into the "Ye Olde Forest Towne" and walk from one end to the other of the zone looking for monsters to kill, etc., not realizing that it is a social / group up area and that the adventures take play in different areas. However the developers quickly pushed out fixes loosening the censor, adding an NPC to the town telling players how to actually quest and turning on the really nice heads up display help by default. The developers seem to be very attentive to their users. I originally had a bit here waffling on if I should give 4 or 5 stars based on a couple of issues that have now been fixed, and going with 5 stars because of the potential. To be honest I am impressed with how quickly they improved things.

As a World of Warcraft player since launch day, I was eager to try this game out. I have to say, it far exceeded my expectation. Yes, there is a pay-for-content scheme to add new dungeons, emotes, etc, but I've not taken advantage of those offers yet and the game is still a blast for an MMO fan. Like all MMO's at startup, it's hard to find a healer. But I've yet to have a problem finding a game, towns can be fun for social chatting when enough people are around. It is of course not the most elaborate MMO ever; there's no trading or crafting, for one. Everything is instanced; it's a lot like Diablo, with a camera system borrowed from WoW. There are no mounts or cosmetic pets, but with minimal town interaction it's hard to complain. Really, considering that the game is free, the connection is reliable and you can play a surprisingly robust MMO with a huge variety of items anywhere you can get a wifi connection, this is the best thing I've found yet for the iPad! Any WoW or Diablo-via-Battle.net fan should consider this a no-brainer!

This was the first game I installed my Ipad , it's easy to learn and a lot of fun to play. great graphics easy simple controls. The 3-D environment looks awesome on the large Ipad display. plenty of players online since I installed I have always found a sever with other players.Best of all the price can't be beat!

Hours of fun teamwork-gameplay for free, and I have the opportunity to extend enjoyable gameplay for just $1.99. Much cheaper than investing $9.99 right away in the appstore on a game like Plants v Zombies. This way you are able to try before you buy.

Simply put this is a mini World of Warcraft for the iPad. The developers have a great forum for feedback and not only read it but post answers back. This game is addicting. Yes, the game is free but they are paid addons. Well, considering all the work they put into it, you won't mind playing 99 cents here or $1.99 here. They have addon map packs they you will need to get your char past level 13. But considering you get 2 char slots right away, you can play two of the classes for free until level 13. This gives you a good idea of whether you will like it or not and I think you will. They are constantly updating the content. This is a home run!!!

It is a great game. Never expected there will be a mmo for Ipad... Recommended for all

This game is really awesome. Everything about it is great. The graphics looks really good, the touch controls are great. Over all this is definitely a must have. This that would make it better? Maybe a non connection option so you can play dung car rides when there is no Internet using bluetooth connectivity. I also wish there were more characters to choose from, along with further customization.

This is truly the best app I've ever downloaded so far. It is excellent, including the fact that you meet people online. But why am I stuck at lvl 13? Anyway, great game! Keep up the updates.

I downloaded this game after reading all the glowing reviews here. The game is done pretty well, especially for a free game. But it really needs more to be considered great. The environments are look good at first, but you'll quickly find that they are recycled. The maps aren't "open", you just follow a zig-zagging pattern to the end of a level. In other words, you either go forward or backward through the level, and since there is nothing respawning behind you, you'll inevitably just keep moving forward. This means there's nothing to explore. Furthermore, when you level up, the game allocates all stat points and skill points for you, so there is no customization there. The end result is a game that allows to you to hack and slash through some generic environments online, but you'll never really feel like you're doing anything revolutionary or even drastically fun. It's a bland MMO that does what you'd expect, but absolutely NOTHING more than that.

This isn't helping my MMO addiction! Perfect time killer when I can't be in EQ2.

Simple to play and fun.

Though i'm glad to see an mmo that I can play on the iPad, it's hard to get past the loot that is given randomly without the ability to trade. Hopefully we can see an update soon that will add this in. I've also noticed a severe lack of communication and competence of many players; without a small tutorial, it's clear that rookie mmoers don't understand their role.

By the time I was addicted it was time to pay up. You can get to level 13 and then it's time to pull out the wallet. Great game and highly recommended just know your free adventure ends soon.
