This app uses European measurements and there aren't any American conversions. I'm pretty mad I paid $4 for this

Looks to be a great app with unique recipes, but has one fatal flaw: all the measurements are in metric and Celcius. I know we in the States have a backwards system, but to sell an app in the US iTunes store without accounting for the system we use is a bit sloppy.

The sweets look delicious, but the recipes are in European measurements. There are no American conversions given(and I know that I will not take the extra steps to do the math out for seventy recipes). I am irritated that I spent nearly four dollars for something I won't use.

***It says right in the app description that an update with US measurements is coming soon.*** All the pics look amazing and the recipes not too difficult. Until the update comes out, the conversions can't be that hard to do. Looks like this weekend will be Nutella Cupcake Weekend!!

I'm so in live with it. I love that you can just swipe your hand to manage it if you are cooking and don't wanna get your phone messi. It's so sweet and the recipes are great. No big deal to convert. Something else to learn!

First off the app states that the measurements are imperial before you ever buy. So don't complain because you didn't read the full description. The hand gestures for turning pages are so cool. I'm sure other app will follow.

Whimsical, lovely dessert ideas

While I'm a US user and eagerly await the measurements update, the ideas in this app are excellent. As someone who bakes frequently, measurement conversions are kind of a pain and inconvenient, but they don't warrant a one-star review. The app itself is very well designed and quite pleasing to the eye. The Hands-Free feature works very well (it's very sensitive) and is impressive. I'd really like to see a Universal version of this app-- the Hands-Free feature along with the bigger screen would be so awesome on the iPad. As it is, the text is a bit small for working in the kitchen.As for the recipes, they are charming. I haven't personally tried them yet (as there are some ingredients that might need "translation"), but they are a nice assortment of whimsy. I look forward to experimenting when the US update arrives.
