We saw this at NAB. This software does more than the $800 teleprompter software we bought 3 years ago. We shoot commercials and corporate video but I'd bet this would be perfect for just about any shooter. It's just right there on your iPhone whenever you need it and it has everything. We love it and recommend it.

I saw this at the NAB Convention and was immediately sold. This is the smallest lightest Teleprompter ever, yet totally legible from several feet away. Perfect for my Steadicam jobs. As a first test, I converted a .pdf of a feature film length script to plain text and uploaded it to the Script Manager. Nobody is going to read a script that long from Teleprompter, but I wanted to see if it would choke. It then downloaded to my iPhone in about a minute and played back without a hick-up. In future versions I'd like to see remote control of cueing and speed, and of course internal editing; but this is a great version 1.0.

I do real estate video tours of homes and am always having agents deliver an introduction to their listing... most stumble over their words! I've been looking for something like this for 3 years! Brilliant. Great execution! So simple, yet so valuable.

The ProPrompter app was a great find, very impressed! I was wondering how smooth the scrolling would be since some of the other teleprompter software I've used on my laptop have been a little choppy. The ProPrompter app is extemeIy smooth and easy to use. I needed something for the talent on a local cable access show since they often get flustered and flub the line. Budgets being what they are, the ProPrompter app has saved me a bunch of time and gray hairs. Well worth the price. Oh - I also bought one of the wings to mount to my Canon XHA1, very slick. Good job guys, keep it up!

Amazing! I actually thought of this sometime back, how cool it would be to read a script from your iPhone, but these guys did it right. We own their ProPrompter LCD package, but this is perfect for quick, on the fly shoots. All you need is one of your small cameras and your iPhone. You really need their "Wing" to hold the iPhone, but it's only $129. We do a lot of onsite architectural spots and this is a great setup for that kind of work that's for sure.

Saw this at NAB and bought it after the software came out. This is the only company with software that also has hardware that you can use with the iPhone and your camera. I love this software and the wing thing that attaches to our Canon 5d Mark II. I teach a broadcast course at two high schools in Chicago. My students either have iPhones or iPod touch and I've sold about a dozen of the software so far by the students seeing mine. I didn't realize but you can also prompt scripts in cyrillic. Cool! This is a gotta have.

We read about this on Gizmodo and bought it with the hood called the pro mag that magnifies it. We do monthly sailing podcast and blog and never found anything light enough until this Mag thing. We use our iPod touch and this is perfect. We sometimes shoot a narrative at sunsets but this is easy to read. I set the font size at 60 so I can see it farther away. I tried one made overseas but it was hard to get scripts into it. The little prompter software is well thought out and we love it. I recommend this to our fellow podcasters and especially sailors.

I picked this up on the recommendation of a friend who saw it at NAB, and I'm impressed. I mostly do podcast stuff, and this is by far the most bang for your buck you can get - no special hardware required. It's super easy to use and works great!

I wish more developers would get the details right, as these guys did with ProPrompter. What a boon to have an inexpensive prompter wherever you go. If you do any kind of talking to a camera, this product is indispensible.

From purchase to my first shoot was about 90 mins. Startup was quick and I knew the operation of the software in 10 mins. The system is intuitive, with not a single problem. This turned a 3 hour shoot with the talent memorizing 6 30 second scripts into a 45 min shoot and she went to dinner. Hopefully the developer will make it possible to wifi from your laptop to the prompter without going thru a webpage. 4 stars now but with wifi connection it rates 5 plus. But for now.....FANTASTIC.

When the developer says you 'can' upload scripts over the web, they should have said 'have to'. No last minute changes unless you have your computer and Internet connection with you. And since you have your computer, why not read from the larger screen it has.

Give us this and five stars for sure.

Love this app! I've been waiting for years for something like this. I would give it 5 stars except that loading and editing a script is ridiculously cumbersome. If only you could copy/paste or edit in the app itself! Otherwise a great prompter. Will be using it a lot.

This application seems very useful and very easy to use. Setup was straight forward and worked as advertised.

I'm making in-house tutorials for work. When I started, my main concern was the dialogue (taking the video was easy for me). When the camera was rolling, I'd stammer and forget important points causing multiple retakes.

We've been using the software almost daily for months now. The gravity detection means that I can operate all menus while attached to the wing and the clip. My assistant has used the email copy paste into the software and editing on the fly as well but I have to say the best part of the program has always been how smooth the scrolling is at any speed. A smooth scroll is the most important factor when using a teleprompter. We love ProPrompter, and our wing.

This is absolutely the best teleprompter app available on the iPhone (and I think I've bought them all). I love the way I can email myself a script - cut and paste - and I'm prompting. If I need to change a word or two - the ProPrompter app has a built in editor which makes it quick to edit or even create a new script from scratch. The biggest deal for me is how smooth the text scrolling is and how easy the program is to get around. I don't have time for clunky or choppy teleprompter software in the heat of a video shoot. Props to these folks for making such a pro teleprompter app for the iPhone!

The first version was quite good, but this update takes it to the next level. The ability to do editing on the fly and to leverage copy/paste from any source significantly increases the value for my work. Bonus points for adding these features while still maintaining an easy to use and intuitive application. Great work!

If you have any use for a teleprompter and have an iPhone, GET THIS APP. It has all the features you could possibly need, and you are up and running in MINUTES. After years of having to memorize long scripts, this app has instantly saved me hours of work every week. Most teleprompter solutions run several hundreds of dollars and are more involved. You cannot beat this solution - ten bucks for a prompter that is super easy to use and works AWESOME. I am just thrilled with it!

The feature set is amazing - not to mention that it has you create an account so you can upload/sync scripts easily online (both from the iphone to your account if you create it in the iPhone, or back again if you create it online!). GREAT STUFF!

This is a very well done App, very useable and user friendly. I find it very easy to email/cut/paste scripts into the software and the best part of the program is the smooth scrolling. Is there room for improvement? Yes, as a proffesional public speaker, it would be great to have a numerical scale for selecting scroll speed. Default is too slow, faster is too fast. Minor, but still very important. If using this app for public speaking from a podium, it is very easy to accidently leave your script when trying to pause, slow down or speed up the scroll, it would be great if it had a confirm button before returning to main menu (very easy upgrade). I hope this problem is fixed and then I would give it 5 stars without hesitation.

A phenomenal app! We shoot with a Sony FX 1 and were able to mount the iPhone just above the lense - on top of the hood with thick rubberbands. We just finished a 5 hour shoot that SHOULD have taken us 2 long and painful days to complete. Our talent was able to read directly from the phone - NO memorization - which meant that they were able to really concentrate on nailing their performance and delivery. We were able to easily load all 12 of our scripts into the app via email (copy and paste) and through the online director. The director was easy to set up, easy to use, and actually saved us from disaster. My iPhone - which originally had all the scripts loaded onto it - died at the location. Because of the online director we were able to load the app on our PA's iPhone and immediatley sync all the scripts... Awesome! Our only suggestion would be to allow more speed options. There were a few times when our talent needed the app to scroll just a bit faster than it could. Bottom line - this is a fantastic app that has saved us time and money. It has allowed us to speed up production and to quickly increase the quality of the takes we get. Absolutely a worthwhile investment at only $10. Highly recommended!

Only major quibble... Faster scrolling please... Approx. 15% bump-up would probably be sufficient. That would satisfy any complaints from our ADHD-prone script readers...
