I installed the new application - supposedly an upgrade - and now I have to buy Pubsearch Plus if I want to see more than the first 10 abstracts. WTF DeathRay? Oh well, it's not like this was very useful anyway. The application crashes every 2 seconds.

Easy to use. You get to the abstract you need with a lot less keystrokes. The display output is simple, so it loads pages quickly. You can even search individual fields using square brackets (e.g. Jones[au] AND cancer[ti] AND 2000[dp])

Last update took away email results from the free version and put only in the paid version, and limits you to 10 results.
Crashes when it can't find a connection; would have been nice if the author put his programming time into fixing the crashes rather than further gimping the free version to pressure people to upgrade to the paid version.

This pubmed search tool didn't come close to expectations. You are only able to enter search terms, NO refining your search by restricting to certain journals, languages, using logical operators, etc. 1 star for a decent first shot I guess. For now I still search pubmed on the desktop

A good app; more user friendly than pubmed website on the iPhone, but much less features. The ability to select, save, and group articles into categories would be great. Expanded search options also a plus.

PubSearch Plus is the perfect app for anybody in the clinical science arena - esp. for those working in/assoc. with an academic center. Pubsearch essentially places all (institution) subscribed electronic medical journals right in your pocket with Abstract & Full text options. No crashes or freezes to date. Great App all around.

Finally a simple search tool for PubMed! Works plain & simple. The roadmap of upcoming features (especially saved searches) also looks promising. Filters would also be great (reviews, filter by date). Using the same tools, you could also set up a journal search so you can keep up with new items filtered by journal and save the list of journals that you follow.
Keep up the good work!

this is great..have used 2 days at work now and found it amazingly fast at looking up quick summaries of articles that i can then email myself the reference for later reading on a topic related to patient care..I am a hospitalist and find this very useful as I dont always have time to look things up on up to date..

Great little app. Very fast and works as advertised. Would get 5 stars IF could return to the list after emailing the article. Right now if you email an article, when you return to the app it is blank and you have to start your search all over again. Very frustrating. So if you could either: (1) allow a user to select multiple abstracts to email; or even better (2) allow the user to return to the found list after emailing one article. Thanks.
